Hey all. Sharing an article I wrote about the concept of energy sharing and energy communities, and how it could theoretically provide relief for grid congestion.

The article focuses on Belgium (Flemish region), but I think the concepts apply worldwide. I personally think energy sharing is very interesting, and hope you learn something.

Hey all. I started experimenting with embedded Rust on ESP recently, with an ESP-backed power monitor as my first project: https://github.com/mempirate/shellyctl

I was quite disappointed by the state of UI libraries in the ecosystem, so I started to build my own. The declaration API is based on the lovely GPUI, and it's fully no_std, no alloc compliant.

Would love to hear feedback.

NOTE: The repo is a work in progress, but the core is there. Don't mind the visible to do's.

Thanks for the detailed response. My goal is to deploy small to medium-sized LLMs on it for things that I'd rather keep private and local, i.e. automation around smart home, but also tracking finances and portfolio, aggregating & summarizing news feeds and blog posts and so on. For these purposes, medium intelligence at low TPS seems good enough to me.

But a large part of it is also wanting to learn more about serving these models, and potentially some small-scale experiments with training and fine tuning.

I'm surprised this is even allowed, not against X ToS?
