Even if they were exactly my demographic (age, ethnicity, spirituality and all), the explicit intention of reshaping where I call home by these non-natives would give me pause. I think GP was trying to convey a similar feeling.
In my experience, the best course of action is to learn whatever you need first.
For those considering programming as a hobby/occupation, being told to learn a relatively complex and unpractical language would raise the bar of entry.
Perhaps making the "How does it work?" link more prominent (positioning/color/size/container styling) would help drive the right user experience.
For the question in the content of the post, figure out who to ask about each topic, don't just ask the one person who knows everything - that might not be the most efficient way to use their time.

Did you mean sentencing in instead of executing? Based on the article you linked, the executions seem to have occurred elsewhere.
How do I get from a very bootstrapped pet project to something a thousand people can use? Are there any resources/books that could offer guidance on this process?
Based on my limited knowledge of the ISP market, there's significant barrier of entry in each area for a new ISP or even an existing one like AT&T or Wave G.
I'll play around with different settings (thinking about adding up to three blocks each move)! If you have any suggestions or bugs, the repo is public on GitHub.
Of course, maybe iPhones could just tell the users to replace batteries if battery life starts to deteriorate below a certain threshold.
