While the game indeed was ad-free after that, there was no progress possible anymore as everything suddenly cost 3x the virtual coins than before. Basically forcing you to shell out even more money to buy their stupid coins.
We’ve refunded the IAP and that was that.
Wasn’t there an article here a few days ago about Facebook specialising in hiding such malicious ads from testers and law enforcement to maximise gains?
And you can still ask Siri to ask ChatGPT if you need someone to talk to.
Also, you’d be surprised what cool things you can do when using Shortcuts with Siri. Especially now that Shortcuts can make use of LLMs (“Use model” action).
Yep, I remember a time where you could extract the Ki and IMSI from legit SIMs and write that to a bog standard Goldwafer card (which were also used for cable TV hacking) including some SIM emulation software and thereby clone the SIM. That was like 30 years ago and the only thing that changed in SIMs since then is better encryption.
And the T-Mobile Germany portal to download a new eSIM required authentication via SMS to that now deactivated number. That was fun. (As they didn’t have an alternative procedures to provision eSIMs in place, we had to go visit a store to get a new physical SIM first and could then convert that to eSIM.)
Only if you want it to. Your local Plex server is always available on port 32400 - which can be opened up for others as well. But using Plex’s authentication is more convenient, of course.
(Not sure whether the current licensing offerings are worth it, though. I’ve got grandfathered in from before it had AI support.)
Got lots of server health messages and requests to call people back. And some more personal messages, too.
Or do you remember the Beepberry/Beeper?
OTOH, your phone is more than capable, so maybe a small bluetooth keyboard is all you really need. There are apps like iSH on iOS or Termux on Android that give you a Linux shell.
Especially since you can now create Shortcuts that get input directly from Spotlight or the active window.
