For those, Christmas is a mix of happiness and sadness. Happiness if there is someone left with who to share our life with, sadness for missing those who left...

You're not alone either!
It's a shame to have so many money given to so many projects and no one ever remembers Gigablast.
(About private.sh: I think it would be nice to have image search on private.sh)
those of us who programmed to IE5 AND 6 do remember how hard it was to take the power from MS to deliver it to it's right owner: W3C.
Sure, now it's in Googles hands... People just didn't wake up yet. they keep on wanting to live the dream...
What about Apng?!
It's smaller,it's better and it's not-google (Yes! That's also a feature)!!!
Edit: there is actually this independent website that says the opposite:
Let me put it this way: if it's an opensource search engine you'll have me for sure.
If it's not 100% opensource then I can't be sure you don't track me and we end up in the google cage again.
I know TailCat is open source... But what about Brave Search? Any clue?
It's not that having a common rendering engine for everyone would be bad. What's bad is having 1 company (or a few) for-profit companies controlling that rendering engine.
They don't give a shit about you!
I would prefer a combination of Genode+seL4. (but the lack the workers to move as fast as Google)
Or even [some distro]+on top of Linux + on top of seL4.
Google scares me ATM...
The thing is that only IT guys actually know what's going on on the IT world (most web-developers are excluded because their job requires Chrome!).
As such only ITs use Firefox (and a few privacy concern and well informed people!)
What's the quick fix for endless Brave issues?
LOL
Firefox is choosing user privacy side.
But there is 2 problems:
1.Most people are *** and go behind "every thing google" without asking any questions about it...
2.companies optimize sites to what brings them moreeconomical advantages, what's more "known" and what makes them expend less (if you build it for chromium, look at how many browsers it will work on.)
People do not study history and they should, because it would make them remember they already lived this with IE6... AND THE FIGHT IT WAS TO GET OUT OF THAT SHITHOLE...
And make no mistake - it was thanks to Mozilla - alone - we got out!!! Firefox does have a lot of problems, but everyone owes them being in a more "advanced" web!
But maybe that's just me...
It's not like Firefox is perfect but, at the moment, seems the only way...
Why not use Falkon (falkon.org)?
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/google-contai...
Oh... you are using Chrome!!! There's no point then. You won't be able to hide from Google no matter what you do!
Firefox + DuckDuckGo is just as good as all that "Googlish" things ;)
Yes, they do A LOT of mistakes IYAM and sometimes I really fell that I should abandon it and move on...
But specially what it represents and the fact they are the only decent non-chromium browser continues to make me stay by their side, despite they keep shooting themselves in the foot over and over (and over) in so many things...
However, this kind of fake videos are taken from other "Hollywood" movie productions.
I was curios to know if anyone knows any extra details about this.
Just out of curiosity!!!
Everyone is turning Chromium these days... and when we look at it we can only be amazed about the workforce behind it.
How can Mozilla fight back such thing?
Users should support Firefox more by using it as it is the ONLY browser that is chromium independent and that really cares about privacy...
Go ahead pray a bit and maybe He'll answer you those questions!!!
I surely don't know the answer, the same way scientists don't know how life was created in the first place. What everyone have is wild guesses and faith in those guesses. ;)
As to the material: First we should try to find out where to look for...
GOD CREATED LIFE!
There it is! I said it!
And I'm going to say even more: there is absolutely no scientific proof that shows otherwise.
In fact the complexity points keeps pointing this way. It's just a question of keeping the mind open. :)
Ok... You can now ban me for my comment!
Now, i guess that - like last time - we're going to have news everywhere claiming that scientists "created life" (again).
LOL
"They didn’t build that cell completely from scratch. Instead, they started with cells from a very simple type of bacteria called a mycoplasma. They destroyed the DNA in those cells and replaced it with DNA that was designed on a computer and synthesized in a lab. This was the first organism in the history of life on Earth to have an entirely synthetic genome."
In another words, like in the previous attempt (in which i was equally amazed - at first - only to then became disappointed latter) THEY DID NOT CREATE LIFE!!!
They picked up an already living organism and "reprogrammed it".
Its like having a computer. They are learning to program, and remove all the unnecessary parts but they still don't have a clue on to build the hardware.
The problem, it seems, is in transforming bare lifeless quimicals into something "alive".
Creating life, it seems, is still something reserved only to God Himself! (and i suspect it's going to be like that for a loooong time, if we ever manage to accomplish it anyway)
