I am one of the founders of GridApp (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GridApp_Systems), which was acquired by BMC (http://www.bmc.com/), where I worked for a while afterwards, doing product strategy for their cloud group. I used to be Chief Strategy Officer for Synthesio, a social media analytics platform, and Director of Product for Squarespace, the website builder
Currently, I lead the product team for AppSheet at Google. Anything I say is my personal perspective only.
