martinni··on Show HN: Apt Power Tools
Cool tool! But the introduction from the video was really bad.
martinni··on Ask HN: What are your greatest method for learning coding?
Side projects.
martinni··on Ask HN: Do You OK Google or Hey Siri in Public?
Obviously, if there's no one around. Who are you going to impress?
martinni··on Ask HN: Is phonegap/cordova still relevant?
I'm not a phone gap expert by all means, so I can't speak for it's new ability. But I wasn't very pleased with my experience when I did have to use it.

Now that Xamarin is free, it's very hard to say no to such a powerful tool.

martinni··on Show HN: Big-O Poster [pdf]
I'd argue that having a poster and memorizing it is actually counter productive. It's easier to know the data structure and think about how they work in the different situations.
martinni··on Ask HN: How would you improve GitHub?
- Tab spacing config instead of having to append `ts=4`

- Commenting on a PR while ignoring whitespace changes `w=1`

martinni··on Ask HN: Is anybody doing something productive with IBM Watson or is it just BS?
http://www.rossintelligence.com/ they use watson AI to simplify the legal system.
martinni··on Kite – Programming Copilot
Looks great!

The only thing is I don't like the thought of having to share my screen real estate. Would it be possible to have some kind of navigable popup box within the editor?

martinni··on Ask HN: What's the most useful online course you have watched?
Getting started with GO with Andrew Gerrand. Not only did it teach me the basics of GO but showing his keystrokes demystified vim as well :)

martinni··on Ask HN: Why are comment trees not collapsible yet?
I would also like this, sometimes you don't care about a specific thread and scrolling pass it takes 3-4 screen. Very annoying.
martinni··on Ask HN: Am I ridiculous for finding 8 hours of work as a coder, ridiculous?
Really? After looking at your post history, I found this.

>I've lost the ability to focus on a single task for hours at a time like I used to as a kid. Even if it excites me. My attention has been completely ruined by social media and I don't know how to recover. Always some sort of chat or something in the background. I really don't know what to do, should I get counselling or something?

martinni··on Project Rider – A C# IDE
The only time ReSharper slows down your system is when you load your project for the first time. But I'm more than happy to wait for an second (we have ~100 projects in our solution) so I can harness all the greatness that comes with it. If you're not finding it useful, perhaps you're not taking advantages of the right features? Here's some of my favorite shortcuts, I'll let you try them on your own.

- ctrl+shift+l

- ctrl+\

- ctrl+r+r

- ctrl+shift+t

martinni··on Show HN: Codeposters – making code into art
It would be really cool if you could pick the source code location that the image is made of.
martinni··on China Is Making Domain Name History
If I recall correctly, the term "google" and "youtube" were among the most "googled" terms. People are too lazy to type out the URL anyway.
martinni··on US film of parachuting beavers found after 65 years
I'm not sure I understand how the box is supposed to magically open once it lands..
martinni··on Ask HN: Why is Xcode so buggy?
You should give AppCode a shot

martinni··on Show HN: textie: My startup weekend project – crowdsourced text message advice
This was on todo list for a long time.. curse you laziness!
martinni··on iOS Developer/Designer Interview Questions
Absolutely a lot of these questions were general knowledge to any techsavvy guy. I strongly recommend this book called [Cracking the coding interview] by Gayle Laakmann. It's very details and in-depth, helped me prepare for all my interviews.
