Is anyone using "AI chatbots" considering they are handing a detailed profile of their interests, problems, emotional struggles, vulnerabilities to advertisers? The machine has "the other end", you know, and we're feeding already enourmously powerful people with more power.

Yes - a window.

Agnes Varda [1] taught me about the cycle of inspiration-creational effort-showing your work. Nowdays I book an expositional space every year in November and somehow all the work needed is done until then.

Go + Go Templates is lovely. 5 years in, no problems ever.

Excellent. I love that the link takes you straight to the editor, browser keeps the history, clear design, a joy to use. Made me click around just to see who did it so I can applaud a job well done.

"Confronted" not presented. Lol the screen should also state in bold lettering "This freedom is forced on you by EU which we hate. You will pay for this, and it's THEIR fault, not ours. No hard feelings."

outstanding delivery

When reporting to one of our clients for admining we fount that it was about 3 times cheaper to self-host their services (webapps, sites, email, fileserver, backup) than it was to migrate to cloud. Although they initially went this road because of compliance with some banking clients, they're pretty happy saving heaps on infra.

@anonfunction thank you for the library, I'm using it for keeping stats on the real-estate market in Romania. https://imolive.ro

Fullstack Go + bits of vanilla JavaScript or JQuery (for the awesome plugins) in go html templates.

Did you know that in some parts of Turkey it's not cool to clip your fingernails after sunset?

Great stuff, @jbreckmckye. I love how you eliminated anything unnecessary. Congratulations!

Very nice. Should be one every[]video.page for Go, JavaScript etc.

Hey Alan, not going to apply at this point but just wanted to say hello and thank you for ngrok. Wonderful work.

strangely entertaining

MeteorJS (Node) + React for https://eddtor.com/editor, really quick (1 month from idea to launch), more recently going for Go full stack (server side + template/html package for front-end). After staying on the bleeding edge of Javascript ecosystem for about three years, I missed the simplicity of a reliable server-side language + the battle tested JQuery (I know, right?!) plug-ins.

I strongly agree. Made my "dream text editor", launched with a focus on gamification tools designed around making people write more. Although people liked it (3rd product of the day on Product Hunt, a bunch of sign-ups), in time it became evident that gamification tools create more problems than they solve. We removed/sent to background most of them since, besides a writing calendar and general statistics. I'm more happy to use it now and have a small - about 2% of registered users - awesome community.

Oh my God, the company's growth? Then we MUST axe the CEO. He's just a human, after all. Don't want humans to hurt company's growth. Company's growth. Growth.

Looking good. I'll try to use it with React for this online editor I'm working on.

well, are there any other options for a spell-checker that convenient? I'm interested.

for the "I want to keep it in the cloud" guys: https://eddtor.com/

I like this. Plans to make it work with https://eddtor.com/editor ? :D

Can I just say I found this thread very informative for tackling encryption on a web text editor/document storage:)

I just love the clean look of this. Looks like a labour of love for a personal tool. Nice feature, downloading the full HTML.

Past AWS. Now Digital Ocean, happy customer, administrating https://eddtor.com (free) + http://memoria.email front page
