How do you engage and have any kind of civil discourse with that?
Data shows 100% reliability then?
For example, if there were several scientists that were debating more precise ways of calculating the circumference of Earth, the discourse would improve if flat Earth information was excluded.
Same with the flying money emoji. It's on the list as confusing, but it lists "gaining money, losing money, and transferring money" as 85% of meanings. Context clears up which one of those it is
It clearly means "money is flying" but it leaves the direction of flight to context.

You cannot achieve that by charging your semi at home.
This wasn't on some random Marxist community, this was on one of the big tech communities.
I believe you're going to see the lower average at places that have larger signing bonuses or other compensation that skews that way.
Make the stock, strain it, put in a freezer bag and freeze flat. Keeps a long time and takes little space.
Then when you want to make soup, thaw the stock, add veg and cook until the right texture.
Other way around. If a kid understood the concepts of multiplation, they could train themselves on the next logical steps like exponents.
The consequences of this in the terms of AI would mean they build on a series of concepts and would quickly dwarf us in intelligence.
Apple has excluded all other browsers on iOS, requires you to buy more apple hardware to produce software for iOS, and has all of their rules around IAP and not allowing you to even link to an alternate store in many cases.
If iOS had a 90% market share in the US, I bet they'd have a lot more legal troubles
This made much more sense when Microsoft had multiple platforms running windows with just different sets of apis activated.
At it's peak, this was: PC, phone, hololens, Xbox.
SMS apis may only work on phone, spatial APIs may only work on hololens, printing may work on several, but not all targets. There are ways for developers to check which APIs are supported at runtime, but you can still call these APIs since they are part of the UWP surface.
If it asks me to translate a sentence with the multiple choice options, I translate it first before looking at the options. I listen before reading.
Most importantly, ignore streaks, ladders, and most of the gamification. My learning was hindered just doing a quick lesson to keep a streak, or by doing lighting rounds to gain xp.
I wouldn't learn the lessons if I was just trying to further the gamification. But taking my time, doing them when I'm in a good space to learn has been my best result
They'll likely delay until that decision has come down and they hope they can just claim the laws were unconstitutional in the first place.

When I dropped cable I started subscribing to dozens of channels and now have a pretty solid subscription list.
Many creators I follow have dabbled in different forms of monetization, and I've preferred to stick with the ones that offer patterns or other methods of supporting them.
I don't think it's fair to criticize googles product offering for the content creators choices
No, we're better off regulating safety, setting increasingly strict pollution and mileage standards, and continuing to update laws to eliminate behaviors such as DUI or texting to continue to have those freedoms while limiting externalities.
Honest question, I've been texting since t9 and have never owned an Apple device.
You bury bad news on Friday afternoon.
Or at least that was my experience while working on sovereign cloud stuff in big tech.
.Net framework is the OG .Net and is windows specific. That stopped at v5 (I think)
.Net Core is the cross-platform reboot that was mostly a subset of framework, but not a proper subset.
If you wanted to write a library that worked across everything, you would target .Net standard, which wasn't a framework itself, but the intersection of APIs that existed everywhere.
Today, framework is discontinued, which makes standard kinda moot, and they dropped the "Core" branding. So as of .Net 6, that's pretty much all you'd write for new code.
If you have legacy code, then yeah you're back in that quagmire
Part of choosing your engine is selecting the appropriate licensing costs for your games business model. After spending 2+ years working on your product, the business model completely changes, without the ability to opt out. It also affected already released games, and wasn't even a rev share, it would cost money just for downloads.
This also occured 4 years after Unity publically stated that developers should be able to stay on the version of terms of service they already agreed to.
If a company wants to have that business model, go for it - but don't bait and switch, don't go against your word, or else you've torched all trust between you and your customers
