A game like Fallout/Elder Scrolls with AI generated NPCs and questlines would be so sick too if executed well.
You may live in a bubble
I always find it odd when people choose this as a metric for success. Why not "a person who went to a school you've never heard of, but has a job they enjoy deeply and that gives them purpose"?
From the judges:
>Our lives, especially in our twenties, feels like a competition. From school, to university, to getting a job and progressing through our careers – it’s a never ending competition.
Is that really how people feel? The last time I felt remotely similar was in high school during the university entry exams, but even then, it didn't feel much like a competition, more like a group of kids bonding over going through a stressful time together. Then uni was just socializing, taking fun (and some not so fun) classes and enjoying life without any real responsibilities outside of class and mundane student jobs. I know that my friends felt the same. Where is this competition taking place that the author says applies to everyone?
What dog whistling drivel. That dude's trying so hard to use fancy words and walls of texts to defend his racist views without stating them outright. This is coming from a person who previously said:
"One quality that's a really bad indication is a CEO with a strong foreign accent. They must be clueless if they haven't gotten rid of their strong accent."
Already going mask off in public and later doubling down on it in his blog. Just imagine what his views are in private if he goes to those lengths to try and fail to morally justify them.
>I probably have to go on a psychadelic trip to rewire my brain to be able to show my interest romatically to others
u wot m8
That would be even better, as that would mean 3/4 of the alarms are hits/non false-positives. I argue that even a 1/4 hit rate, i.e. 3/4 false positive rate, is a good start.
Such condescending drivel. The first "realisation" is what is commonly taught within the first 5 sessions of cognitive behavioural therapy. The fifth seems like a move in the right direction for a person who considers (2) and (3) to be so enlightening to justify teaching other people about them, but ultimately coming up with purpuses for your life and ranking them sounds like setting yourself up for a lot of disappointment once the inevitable days where such self-proclaimed purposes can't be achieved come.
Envisioning dedicating an entire blog to enlighten others about these "realisations" people generally have before turning 20 just makes you sound like a narcissist.
Emergency services in my city (the one you call via phone) have a "true emergency" rate of about 1 in 10 according to emergency personnel I talked to, so it is always a matter of balancing the false positive/false negative rate.
