madshiva··on Show HN: A Set of Dice That Follows the Gambler's Fallacy
ha! everything has a sense now.
madshiva··on iPhone Bugs Are Too Valuable to Report to Apple
The analogy is misused. You compare to give information that does not cost anything in time and works, while chasing bugs is anything but free hobbies (for some maybe but this should not be the case at the professional level).

Bug bounty are: "do your job almost free and be paid sometimes"

madshiva··on Welcoming Tech Talent from Around the World to France
This on some case could be good, but there's plenty of people with talent and they don't want to hire them or nor give them decent salary.

This is what ruin the French, only following trend. USA is doing TECH DAYS, let's do the same.

madshiva··on Wireless charging of moving electric vehicles overcomes major hurdle
thanks for the downvote. Why? really?
madshiva··on Wireless charging of moving electric vehicles overcomes major hurdle
I had worked for compagny train 10 years ago and they told me that all vehicles train will be autonomous in 2015. They have only one and it still not working. They prefer to put driver that play on their phone, because people need to work. This is the world where we life. Sad and stupid.
madshiva··on Why Python Is Not My Favorite Language (2016)
I hate python because of the indentation. I know it's stupid, but I hate it.

They are professionals now, but at the beginning it was not at all.
madshiva··on The world’s biggest problems and why they’re not what first comes to mind
- Solving copyright right internationally (faire use of patent or reuse if value added)

- Solving overfishing

- Solving industrial slaving

- Solving capitalism (we know that we can't continue to grow like this without having a proper solution)

- Solving war

- Solving right to travel and stay where you want, global identity "Citizen of the world"

Note: Not in order

madshiva··on The world’s biggest problems and why they’re not what first comes to mind
I will reply to myself, as I get 4 upvote and many downvote, but no comment. Argue a little is not possible?

AI is clearly not a problem, only a trends.

The main and only problem is the industrialisation, people that don't have access to water, food, liberty. Liberty I mean, that I own a land that I want, do like I want, because I'm currently living on earth, I don't care about your old purchase of your family. I had the right to life how I want. Liberty mean that I can die for smoking if I don't care and it's my opinion and it's not your problem to solve it. Therefore had nothing to do on the biggest problems.

madshiva··on The world’s biggest problems and why they’re not what first comes to mind
There's no problems at all. Just enjoy life like tribes do.
madshiva··on Microsoft’s New Patent Identifies Pirated Content: Flags Repeat Offenders
My new patent 07-875545-99: [ SOMEBODY READ THIS ] -> [ PROFIT]
madshiva··on Microsoft’s New Patent Identifies Pirated Content: Flags Repeat Offenders
After the live YouTube feature added there was a lot of channel with the Simpsons, I saw yesterday that they flipped horizontally the episode in order to don't be tracked.
madshiva··on Windows 10 Enterprise ignores various privacy settings
I didn't event understand why people use Excel. There's no ERP software in this company?

Excel teach bad habit about having list every where not maintained.

madshiva··on Google Home: An Insight Into a 4-Year-Old’s Mind
Also personally I don't like to give order by yelling, OK Google, Alexa, make me a sandwich...
madshiva··on Vancouver bans whales and dolphins at aquarium
Yes, they are "professionals", but nobody is better than the nature itself.

The whales and dolphins are not happy to do the show. This is proven and give them drugs (http://www.dauphinlibre.be/le-zoo-de-nuremberg-drogue-ses-da...) to kept them happy. Nice professionalism there.

Many other species lack diversity and therefore suffer from genetic diversity, they need to exchange species between country in order to grow the diversity, new sickness are born but yes they are professionals.

There's not real reason to stay in the old menagerie system, animals have rights to live and if we need food we need to protect them. Point barre, like we say in French.

madshiva··on Vancouver bans whales and dolphins at aquarium
At first the zoo was menagerie only for the pleasure not about conservation. They evolved to conservation.

Now they see that they can not properly take care of animals, even if they try to do their best they still do not know how to do it right. New sickness, etc.

The only way to save animals is by decree a land where human do not have any rights to go their.

madshiva··on So You Want to Make Games
yes, it's better :) thanks
madshiva··on So You Want to Make Games
Because they didn't realize that the mechanism of the game make there pay for playing like it's a coin machine.

You can't compare micro transactions in game that you already pay and candy crush, you didn't pay for a full game, if people want spend their money they are free to do so, I'm also free to call them dumb for that reason. I personnaly play CS:GO sometimes and I have sell all my skins, cases, etc., and thus make the game free for me more that 15$ earned, then I can only say that others people are a little dumb to pay for that.

madshiva··on Cannes Will Ban Streaming-Only Movies from Competition
One million $ was wasted in croissant and baguette.

Quality of product are not determined by the amount of money wasted. Sure the base quality is almost here, but it's why we have sooooo many bad movies but 1% of them are good.

When you get a movie (https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Napoleon_Dynamite) for $ 6,000 that make 40 million, done in 27 days. Hollywood studio should stop scratching their balls.

madshiva··on How to shoot on iPhone 7
I didn't know the story about social security cards. Thanks for sharing.
madshiva··on How to shoot on iPhone 7
it's not they don't notice, they don't care and don't use all the functionnality. They are quite stupid. (feel free to downvote me) but I think the same, "how to do simple" things is useless. If the user don't want learn something new, why they will see a video about it?
madshiva··on Remotely Exploitable Type Confusion in Windows 8, 8.1, 10, Windows Server, etc
Thanks, it's strange how hackernews users are so agressive with downvote...
madshiva··on Remotely Exploitable Type Confusion in Windows 8, 8.1, 10, Windows Server, etc
Hey Tavis,

if you read this, could you tell to Microsoft for fix the issue with definition updates that won't remove after update? The definition kept growing and waste space. (the problem auto solve if the computer is rebooted).

Thanks :)

madshiva··on So You Want to Make Games
Mobile industrie are not the same than game for PC, they are really focused more on money than the game itself, they are for dumb users (sorry I don't have other word for, and it's not even casual) making game like this is more commercial than a passion for gaming.

There's plenty exemple of sucessful game that have only few developper and are better than AAA.

I personnaly have started to make game because I like it to try other approach of programming and I want try to do things that other don't do more or don't focus. Like choice, cooperation, rewards on cooperation, etc.

Just focus on doing things that YOU would play, that make fun and people will talk about it, pay for it (I'm not even close to this but finish something always give reward.)

madshiva··on Guy Finds StarCraft Source Code and Returns It to Blizzard
seriously ? do you want I made the same game than starcraft? because it's quite easy... more easy than other RTS.
madshiva··on The Myth of a Superhuman AI
and he only can play Go... what a waste for a such big AI. AI can beat humain on some special part but they are designed by us, then they are wrong and bad, specially when you only need to unplug the battery for that they die, too easy, come on AI do something more than that....
madshiva··on Identify Plants with an App
Nice, will give a try. Hope you didn't stole my spot where I get my mushroom :P

Google Image is really working quite good. I made a lot of test. The only problem is about there's TOS. I can easily write something but I don't want to be flagged because I don't want use there API.

madshiva··on Identify Plants with an App
wut? I know it can be deadly but it's your responsibility to eat it or not. I think about tell information, like you want for other type of plant too, you want know if it's the right time to cut it, etc. nothing about eating or not. I don't need really an apps for finding some morels.
madshiva··on Identify Plants with an App
I want do the same for mushroom, because they are hard to recognize. Google images works quite fine.
