lynxaegon··on Show HN: Face To Many – Replicate face into Ps2 Filter, 3D, emoji, pixel photo
i logged in with Google, you can see some examples but you can't test without paying 5$ for 30 credits.
lynxaegon··on Show HN: Spotify's public API without authentication
Interesting, i've never expected Spotify to put the access token in plain text in a script tag and they also set the id to "session". It's true, that this is not really important, since it's an anonymous token which is generated probably based on a session cookie, but they could have encrypted the json
lynxaegon··on CRDT Benchmarks
Great work! Looking forward to the CRDT
lynxaegon··on Show HN: A Lightweight 1.7KB JavaScript Framework
Similar but a bit larger: https://redom.js.org/ (2kb)
lynxaegon··on Enhance Speech from Adobe – Free AI filter for cleaning up spoken audio
You can use Nvidia Broadcast with a noise filtered Speaker. I use this for zoom meetings and it works wonders
lynxaegon··on Ask HN: Have you found something you love to do? If yes how?
>"Thanks for making me aware of this opportunity. Sounds boring. Good luck in your continuing candidate search."

Well this made my day. I usually ignore recruiters since everytime i tried telling them that i'm looking for something else, they either keep insisting to have a call or they forget about me for a few days and then start sending the same things.

I think this will be my new response for recruiters :)

lynxaegon··on Replit used legal threats to kill my open-source project
I do think it should be allowed to post the link of a related thread. If I see the hiring post on HN, I would like to know more about that company. It's true that I would search the company to find out more about them, but it would be easier to just scroll a bit and find a few threads about them.
lynxaegon··on Replit used legal threats to kill my open-source project
I think we should flood the internet with replit clones :) How much money would they want to invest in lawyers?
lynxaegon··on Replit used legal threats to kill my open-source project
After reading the whole blog post.. i deleted my account from them. This is pure bullying which i don't agree with. I shall never use replit again.
lynxaegon··on Distributed Systems: A free online class
Oh! Thank you for this one. I was really searching for something like this from MIT :)
lynxaegon··on Github1s – One second to read GitHub code with VS Code
Thanks for this one! I really needed something like this to explore github repos.
lynxaegon··on Show HN: Abstract networking layer over multiple transports (JS)
Hi, author here.

I created this lib from my own personal frustration. Every time I started a new project or a PoC, I required some sort of networking layer with some specific functionality: client/server, p2p (via proxy), mesh, rpc, reconnect mechanism, custom auth, e2ee and most importantly to be able to run on browsers with a relatively low footprint (currently at: 24kb)

This library is still a work in progress, I know there is still much work to be done, but I wanted to ask for some feedback.

What do you think about it?

lynxaegon··on YouTube-dl's repository has been restored
As a developer I liked GitHub from the beginning, but after Microsoft bought it I was skeptical that it would go in the right direction..

I think it's time to start searching for another place to store my repos

lynxaegon··on Show HN: Use iPhone as a password manager for your desktop PC
Nice! I love what you did with the security. Do you have any plans on supporting Android as well? I would love to have this on my phone, but i'm an Android user. If this was on Android, i would gladly pay for it.
lynxaegon··on Show HN: TabNine, an autocompleter for all languages
Really nice. Good job!

I tested it in Sublime Text, and it's a bit odd that i can tab after i first pressed the tab button and the autocomplete window disappeared, but i think i can work with that :)

lynxaegon··on Towards Natural Language Semantic Code Search at GitHub
They are tagging so much code with text, that i'm sure they have something groundbreaking.
lynxaegon··on Show HN: An interface built primarily for voice texting
Waht about android?
lynxaegon··on Show HN: I'm 12, learning JS, and wrote Wolfram's cellular automaton in Node
+1
lynxaegon··on Show HN: Penc – Trackpad-oriented window manager for macOS
I was using Spectacle. I never could remember all the shortcuts, but after a few tries, i got what i wanted. But this is just awesome!! Thank you!
lynxaegon··on Show HN: Unity 3D in Docker
Or you could use nodejs & socket.io for the MP server which is even cheaper
lynxaegon··on Show HN: Coinerra – JavaScript Crypto Miner
I think they had a bug, because for me it started showing today. 10.47 MH -> 0.00177 xmr pending and now it's increasing at each refresh
lynxaegon··on Show HN: Coinerra – JavaScript Crypto Miner
Yeah, they don't have a private api, but you could use the client side API (miner) to get total hashes / listen for accepted hashes and save the data on your side and give rewards based on that.
lynxaegon··on “We will stop updating and distributing the Flash Player at the end of 2020”
Yes back than even AS2 was good. But now you have a lot of great tools available for HTML5 and Unity. You can build anything you would have in Flash.

I wouldn't say AS3 is the best programming language, but that's just my point of view. I, for one, don't have a favorite language because i think that each language has it's pros and cons and each language excels in a certain area.

lynxaegon··on The Technology Behind A Low Latency Cloud Gaming Service
Good job! I see that your first picture is from Rocket League, i ussualy play rocket league using the steam controllers :) It would be really nice if the steam controllers could work with it.
lynxaegon··on Reverse Engineering a Mysterious UDP Stream in My Hotel
haha! Best reverse engineering of elevator music ever :)
lynxaegon··on TheAIGames – Develop your coding skills by competing in various AI competitions
Probably that could be done, but for each round you get X milliseconds. If you would run your bot on your pc via api, you could have an unfair advantage, because you could run it in a 64 core cpu (for example) and you have more "time" to do calculations. I really like their idea. It's easy and fair. Also, they do support a lot of programming languages
lynxaegon··on Dragon: A distributed graph query engine
I don't think it's open source yet. Maybe in the near future
lynxaegon··on Android-x86 dev offers $50k for proof of contribution by Kickstarted ConsoleOS
If i would have seen a few commits, then i could have said "yes, it failed because..". But there were no commits.
lynxaegon··on Show HN: An app that keeps track of your Tv Shows - Episodify
I desperately needed an app to keep track of what i was watching, and where i left off. All other apps were to complex for my needs, so i created a simple and basic app that does everything that i need.

I would really apreciate some feedback. :)

lynxaegon··on Show HN: Rate my new HTML5 game, please
Sometimes 2 tubes are one over the other, or 1 tube and a rat. You could check if there is a collision of objects when you put the tubes and the rats. It's a bit frustrating to time the drop.. :)
