ls-a··on Unsafe and Unpredictable: My Volvo EX90 Experience
I was thinking about the site too. It looked like a perfect example for AI, then I found the lovable badge.
ls-a··on Android Earthquake Alerts: A global system for early warning
Typical Google product. Reminds me of a person who put a bunch of phones in a car and drove which caused Google maps to wrongly show traffic in that area. It was deliberately done though as an experiment
ls-a··on Agents built from alloys

ls-a··on Coding with LLMs in the summer of 2025 – an update
Programming on/for Apple has never been free. So it's not a surprise to some engineers. You're right that programming might become the way of Apple in the future. However, I think engineers should rejoice because AI is the best thing that happened to them.
ls-a··on Ask HN: Is it time to fork HN into AI/LLM and "Everything else/other?"
I would like the Rust evangs to have their own group. Thankfully AI came and saved us all from their terror
ls-a··on 3D-printed living lung tissue
Still not high res enough to see the "complex three-dimensional (3D) vascularized tri-culture airway model".
ls-a··on How big is carpooling market?
No I want a car
ls-a··on 3D-printed living lung tissue
When I click on a link like this, I expect to see a massive high res image of a 3D-printed living lung tissue.
ls-a··on I want an iPhone Mini-sized Android phone (2022)
I also wanted one, then Samsung released the foldable phones. The Z Flip was exactly what I wanted. Now that the Fold is so thin, I want it as a small iPad. I feel that Samsung has solved the small Android phone problem in a different way with foldables
ls-a··on Reflections on OpenAI
Which is a YC startup. If you know anything about YC it's the network of founders supporting each other no matter what.
ls-a··on I Messed Up My Google PM Vibe Coding Interview
what's next. Companies will just let the customers vibe code what they're asking for
ls-a··on I Messed Up My Google PM Vibe Coding Interview
The sad thing is everyone will follow this interview practice like they did before with other ridiculous questions
ls-a··on Preliminary report into Air India crash released
Wait till the final report is out and what resolution they come up with then we'll see who the joke is on
ls-a··on Preliminary report into Air India crash released
It's a joke about the design of safety systems involving actual human lives (movies being more safe). I get an audible warning on my laptop if i hit a key for too long for God's sake. These companies are a joke.
ls-a··on I Messed Up My Google PM Vibe Coding Interview
Based on the current state of AI that's strange. They must be 100% sure that vibe coding will eventually replace engineers for them to go in that direction. Which is also strange because i don't see it still. Isn't it too early to replace engineers with vibe coders
ls-a··on Preliminary report into Air India crash released
So you're telling me that those switches don't have a voice that says "fuel cutoff switches transitioned" like in the movies? That's bad design
ls-a··on Ask HN: How did Soham Parekh get so many jobs?
Wow that escalated quickly. I'm just saying why would an engineer who's been rewarded a seat at a company based on his leetcode abilities think that the company cares about anything else.
ls-a··on Cops in [Spain] think everyone using a Google Pixel must be a drug dealer
we found him
ls-a··on Ask HN: Can't Figure Out Where to Go Next Career Wise
I know someone who's been doing this for 10+ years. Everytime he joined a startup he thought it'd be long term, then it all ends. He told me if he knew his life would be volatile like this he would've saved his money instead of splurge it all. I hope you find a more stable remote startup job, but don't be surprised if this unpredictability continues for years. Save your money.
ls-a··on Ask HN: How did Soham Parekh get so many jobs?
TLDR: Low wages are backfiring
ls-a··on Ask HN: How did Soham Parekh get so many jobs?
Sounds like you're really bad at hiring. Paying low wages is backfiring at you
ls-a··on Ask HN: How did Soham Parekh get so many jobs?
Then fire the CEOs, lawyers, investors, and top management with low character.
ls-a··on Ask HN: How did Soham Parekh get so many jobs?
Leetcode interviews are a faang thing
ls-a··on Ask HN: How did Soham Parekh get so many jobs?
I wish he was never caught. The companies deserved that
ls-a··on A CarFax for Used PCs; Hewlett Packard wants to give old laptops new life
Well it's one "indicator" that the car is a US one.
ls-a··on Everything around LLMs is still magical and wishful thinking
AI helped me find a bug that was going undetected and also helped me fix it. I was debugging a completely different bug, and decided to get a bit creative with what context i should share. AI pointed out the other bug. What I'm trying to say is people should stop talking about AI making them faster, that is not a good goal, unless your manager sucks. People should talk about concrete cases of how AI helped them instead. Another example I can give is AI helped me understand a part of a complicated protocol without reading the spec. It explained just the part I needed at the moment. AI made me dread my work less. I hope founders start getting creative with AI tools instead of copying each other.

ls-a··on More assorted notes on Liquid Glass
I think i meant electric and driverless
ls-a··on A CarFax for Used PCs; Hewlett Packard wants to give old laptops new life
What about the front-side indicators? I was referring to those.
ls-a··on More assorted notes on Liquid Glass
They probably want to move users away from the iphone and onto a new platform? probably AR glasses? There is a similar (kind of) conversation on how car design got worse so people will fall less in love with their cars and switch to electric.
