Does Musk count as outside or inside politics?

I have no idea and want the answers:

Boat + bowling ball = level stays the same?

Ball roll = the constant gradient is quickest?

> I guess they learned it from Elon: if people like you, they’ll just hold your stock forever, even if you don’t make much money.

Is that the Elon lesson? I see him behave terribly and suffer little consequence. Much like his political buddies.

I’m using Calibre Web and it syncs with Kobo just fine. It’s a minor change to the config and then you can sync with your own library.

Self hosted in Docker, I browse to the book I want, add it to a ‘shelf’ that is synchronised. then on the Kobo I press sync. It downloads.

I used a guide that was something like this:

No, but they can help me fix my devices.

What’s your solution? A whole new e-reader with a model you don’t like?

> Literally the only issue here is the concentration of it.

And the fact that there is 900k litres of it.

If somehow someone hasn’t seen this, they are in for a treat.

You might like the UK. The place is wall to wall with allergen lists.

Is that true though? Trump was very clear about what he would do, and was voted in.

And here we are.

‘and learning about them’

I’m not at all convinced about this part.

Thanks for this.

I wonder if AI recommends regular full reinstalls?

Schrödinger’s Licence.

> USA will get Chinese payback. The only way to stop this is to invoke friend and savior role. Unfortunately, USA is playing the ultimate sore loser card with a generous dose of bullying. Be worry. Be very worry.

Watching Trump try to use tariffs while China holds the cards has been actually hilarious.

> The shared "hacker house" scene in SF is really weird, though.

The startup incubator in Silicon Valley, the tv series, was good comedy.

In a gold rush, sell spades.

But how do you apply that to start up San Francisco.

Sell brewing consumables? Orgy stuff? Wood tables?

> TLDR scams and hostile UX have made mobile phones unusable.

I’m guess that I’m in too much of a backwater, but here in New Zealand I couldn’t tell you the last time I got a spam call and have probably had <5 ever.

I’ve had a few spam sms messages, but these are also rare.

If you want a decent review of something, you could do a lot worse than Reddit.

But they do seem to be trying to destroy themselves at the moment.

> Google is supposed to show the best content at the top

Unless it’s showing adverts first.

> I knew immediately after driving it that it would be the last BMW I ever purchased

Why?

I was oblivious - how did you tell?

There are a lot of commas.

> I still think Apple should have bring their AirPort Express and Time Capsule back.

But for the love of God, please fix Time Machine.

The rumoured Apple server (for their use, not for customers) makes me sad. I want one.

Apple silicon with some other os would be an amazing low power nas.

> 4,700 cubic metres per second in July, whereas on Wednesday it was down to less than a third of that, at 1,600cm per second.

Did a double take at measuring water flow in cm per second. At least it isn’t in busses or Eiffel or something.

> do not buy a USB-C RealTek RTL8156-equipped multi-gig ethernet dongle to use with your Mac.

Buying a Mac with built in 10gbe is so nice compared to dongle hell.

But it’s not 25gbe

Calibre Web and Shelf Mark.

I used to worry about this, but what’s more likely, trouble with Chinese electronics or American? And if travelling though either of those places?

Between the two of them, it rules out most the devices I have or what like.

Careful… Reddit might try and find you.

There was a good article here yesterday on Colossus.

Kopi Luwak is coffee that’s been digested by a cat, and it’s very valuable.

You might be onto something, have you considered trying the cat blue cheese?
