If SD835 is put in PCs the performance is going to be abysmal due to x86 emulation layer. Consequently, the price of the devices is going to be low, most likely in the same range as low end Pentium and Atom laptops/convertibles.

The same chip with lower performance (due to power considerations) in high end phones costing upwards of $600-900, makes it an interesting gambit.

While generating fuel from plastic is nice, the value is really low, and the carbon goes back in the environment. The oil that comes from catalytic pyrolysis also contains some oxidation products that are nasty smelling and of questionable toxicity.

Even better is to simply recycle for use in some other application. The cost of plastic monomers is typically higher than fuel.

The holy grail will be to get monomers back to generate pristine polymer back!

The school boards should simply certify multiple devices for use in the exams.

Hardware is primitive and some enterprising company can devise a much nicer interface and probably at 1/4th price.
