The reason why this is useful is for DeFi applications that are blockchain native. If an applications needs to rely on the economic data, it will be able to use it natively without using an oracle. This doesn't improve the integrity of the data or replace the old ways of getting the data, just makes it more accessible to the blockchain ecosystem.
It seems to me that there’s no way to achieve AGI with the current LLM approach. New releases have small improvements, live we’re hitting some kind of plateau. And I say this a a heavy LLM user. Don’t fire your employees just yet.
A fixed supply, digital bearer asset. It’s nobody’s debt. Not that many of those. And US debt, even though it’s still the predominant reserve asset, things are slowly changing. And yeah, btc is still not a proper currency.
Microsoft doesn’t really respect their users because most of the users don’t decide by themselves to use Azure. Someone else make the decision for them. And it’s probably like that for many of their other products.
This is the first time I hear about librdx and Chotki, very cool projects. I skimmed over both projects but I haven't seen much written about conflict resolution. Does it mean that last write wins based on version vectors?
Super happy to see matrix chug along. I’ve been self hosting dendrite home server for a long time but it doesn’t have sliding sync support, so can’t use the new modernized client. Anyone using conduit for self hosting and do you know if it works with the new client?
This is an awesome effort, thank you, knowing that one of the authors is in the thread. How far is this from usability, at least in some reduced context? Would love to be able to build server images based on this kernel and play around with it.
Excuse my ignorance, but is the good experience somehow influenced by Google AI Studio as well or only by the capability of the model itself? I know Gemini 2.5 is good, have been using it myself for a while. I still switch between Sonnet and Gemini, because I feel Claude code does some things better.
Love the inspiration from Yggdrasil with the hashed key -> IP concept. How do you enforce the geographical part? And what do you use from transport? WireGuard?
Done occasionally it’s fine. It can lead to crashes and also anger or increased irritability. Things that mess with neurotransmitters can be hit or miss. A better long term strategy is to focus on fundamental things that improve the metabolic health of your cells.
One other “light” supplement that can dampen addictive behaviors or cravings is l-theanine.
Indeed I haven't used that term correctly. What I meant, is some kind of asset that is not easily inflated, something that in the long term can retain its exchange value better. Of course, nothing is guaranteed, and especially with bitcoin, it super volatile. But you have a better chance of judging your purchase power based on that.
Find a better unit to report your costs in. Like hours of work, or any other hard asset (real estate, gold, bitcoin etc.). Otherwise you are bound to be disappointed every year.
Very good point. The local-sync ecosystem is still in a young phase, and conflict resolution hasn't been tackled or solved yet. Most systems have a |last write wins" approach.
I hope there will be more adoption of EU stable coins like https://monerium.com, and a payments ecosystem will form around it. The rails are there, we need the apps and the integrations next.
