By the way, my battery health is also around 85% after 500 cycles and being plugged in and charged to 100% whenever possible.
My wife and I have a similar problem with our music libraries. I have all of our music in my library and on iTunes match. I'd like for her to be able to access music in iTunes match too, but there's no way to do that without sharing an iCloud account and thus sharing everything else iTunes related.
If this turns out to be a major problem that doesn't happen to me initially, I'll return the phone. If it's not that widespread but I'm among the unlucky ones who ends up with a bent phone over the next 2 years, Apple will replace it for free (or worst case charge me $79 if they think it's my fault).
I had to deal with coin-operated in-building laundry for years (mostly in New England), and it's definitely terrible when you realize you _have_ to do laundry tonight but you're out of quarters and it's too late to go to a bank. Time to start knocking on doors or making friends with the guy at 7-11.
I definitely thought about (and searched for) a service like this, but as everyone else has said, paying a 50% premium on quarters is tough to swallow. I'd have paid 10-20%, though. (But now that I have in-unit laundry, I'll never go back to shared if I can help it.)
Firefox does seem slower than Safari on OS X, but I don't use Chrome enough on my Mac to compare Firefox vs. Chrome.
If the rumors are true and Apple decides to make the iPhone 6 4.7" and 5.5", what do I get next time I'm ready for an upgrade? I think it's silly for Apple to leave money on the table by only selling the current form factor when there's obviously a lot of demand for a larger iPhone, but it's equally silly to ignore the market for smaller phones like every other smartphone manufacturer is.
I really don't think having fast, hassle-free internet access on the go is an edge case. Isn't that one of the main reasons people buy smartphones?
For zooming, I've always used the double-tap method. This generally works fine for zooming in and out on Safari, and it works for zooming in on Maps. I can do a two-finger double tap on Maps to zoom out, but it's still pretty awkward so I'll keep switching to two-handed mode for those (rare) instances.
Honestly, I'd probably fund this project right now if they had a tablet or notebook docking accessory in the plan.
