I don't know, I have the urge to tap words in books to bring up definitions after using ereaders for the past ten years.
Valve hadn't had a half life since 2007. They're surely due for another one :)
I worked at a company with a not-unlimited vacation policy and this is roughly how shutdown periods worked anyways. You were forced to spend vacation or take the period unpaid. Unfortunately they rarely seemed to be communicated more than a couple of months in advance..
Would be nice to see an upgrade with a working shift key (the modifier is not actually sent) and a wireless option...
"If you are the guy asking for help from people below, to your side, and above you, you’re probably an entry-level engineer. If you frequently need support from those above you (excluding C-level and executive support, that my friends are a whole new level of hell), there’s a good chance you are a mid-level engineer. If you find yourself supporting and being supported by those at your side, you are likely a senior or lead level engineer."

Looking for systems programming or other interesting software development opportunities (ideally C++, but also skilled with Python). Previously spent 5 years writing software for x86 and ARM embedded Linux radio testing equipment.
Since then, I've spent several months getting my feet wet with Unreal Engine 4[0], learning basics of Rust and Haskell, and I'm currently enrolled in the Udacity Robotics Software Engineer Nanodegree. I'm always willing to learn for the job. A project highlight from my Github: interpreting output from a Deskcycle to get cadence data[1]. Even if I'm not what you're looking for and you just want to chat about any of my projects, send me an email!

Can confirm, got a little lazy and put spare components together into a working system on the carpet this past weekend. Everything still works well enough. :)
