Am I the only one who fantasized about the whole place more than the lamps?

You know what? I had fear of flying. I did a training with a pilot in a simulator, but it was in the cockpit. I don't have fear of flying in a simulator or in the cockpit. I have fear of flying as a passenger, I'm sit in a chair. That's what I would have liked during my training. I told that to Air France and they did not understand but this might seriously be useful.

I wanted to be able to run commands on my PC, since it's Gemini in an app and not in a browser. Finally it's not like Gemini cli, and it's not like Gemini Web, and it's not like Gemini Android. Maybe we need to make these things more homogeneous

Interesting. But I thought I was going to have a conversational screen like I do on Android. Clicking the microphone icon to talk is okay for a prompt but not for everyday use (asking questions, giving orders, like I do with my Google Nest if it's still the name).

I entered into some mode where my mouse was moving really fast and my view was the ground or the sky, maybe I did not collide with the ground where I should have.

"The theory was put to the test last summer, with outdoor trials on the centre's rooftop in Tres Cantos, Madrid. After the material was subjected to ultraviolet light treatment that whitens it and improves its solar reflectance, the results came in: on the hottest, driest and sunniest days, the treated surface stayed up to 12.9°C cooler than a sample without coating."

This is fascinating. I hope I won'get downvoted for posting this comment on my post.

Where is the backtest? (don't downvote please, I'm just asking a question)

It's nice, people agree with me, and the comment is downvoted. That's why people don't comment or just do a "like".

It looks like everything is the same with a bit of noise. Do you feel the same while reading this "visualization"?

To me the description was very clear, the game is fun to play. Would love to see the "prediction" of a LLM in the stats after playing

That's what we think here. She's acting like Trump.

of course, you're a salesman

I understand, it can be overwhelming. Hope we meet in a conference soon. I have some news for you.

"Heavens to Betsy", what does it mean?

This seems useful, in 2010, when AI could not make this possible in a single prompt. Now I don't see the need for this.

Knowing the political ideas of some journalists from "Arrêt sur Images", I would like that they also criticize other people than someone named "Klein".

I thought it was an app to help me make beer at home

Better work on something at Europe level

I totally agree, they should offer two versions of each keyboard

or just remove adblock and accept that people are paid by the ads on the websites you're reading

I appreciate the joke :) .

And I wonder when buying a new PC will be possible again. I postponed it when I saw the price of RAM.

I know that there are probably extensions etc but I'm in my bedroom now and the room is not lit like an office and the site is really bright :)

For us "geeks", although I appreciate the minimalism, I'm sure that we enjoy dark theme everywhere.

What is it?

1) Photos of the office, I mean the actual office, not the cafeteria or the hall at the entrance :)

We have something like that in France, that's called "Welcome to the jungle" (Guns N' Roses reference maybe), but again, you mainly see photos of the coffee machine.

2) a commentary on the position by someone at the same or equivalent role at the company

Hello again,

Thank you for your comments.

I did manage the growth of the technical team, projects, infrastructure and everything else that you talked about. I won't have asked if it was not the case but you're right to ask.

This CTO was leading a company that is not related in our core business at all. He is an old friend of the boss, so I suppose that I should have more CEO friends.

Anyway, I was hoping that when you enter a company as a tech leader, you don't get someone telling you what to do next except the founders. The example of arethuza proves that I'm not the only one in this case.

And yes I still have options so quitting would mean losing money, and yes it's up to me, I can see what will happen next but I think I lost 1) my motivation and 2) a lot of projects in this operation.

Thank you all for your replies.
