larmstrong··on Ask HN: What are you working on? (May 2025)
I would also like to help if you need a hand with docs :)
larmstrong··on Emoji Kitchen
This is great!
larmstrong··on A List for Krita
I made an awesome list of Krita resources. [Krita](https://krita.org/) is an open source cross-platform raster graphics editor geared towards 2D animations.
larmstrong··on Ask HN: What are your favorite technical blog posts?
I really like Gaffer on Games. I haven’t found a lot of good content that goes into the nuts and bolts of net code like he does.

larmstrong··on Ask HN: Who needs help this holidays?
Between our adopted fur babies, family deaths, and live just happening, we are definitely feeling the strain of the holidays. I don’t know that I feel comfortable asking for help, but I sincerely appreciate you doing this
larmstrong··on NSFW SpongeBob Artwork by Show's Artists Surfaces After 20 Years
I would pay a lot of money for this book.
larmstrong··on Absurd Trolley Problems
Interesting. So, in a way, by pulling the lever to save the majority, you’re making two sacrifices for the greater good⎯a life and your innocence.
larmstrong··on Ask HN: Online community for self-taught CS hobbyists?
What exactly do you have in mind in terms of a community? Are you looking to develop a platform or use existing platforms?
larmstrong··on Ask HN: Examples of good technical writing?
What do you think about the Relay documentation? https://docs.unity.com/relay
larmstrong··on Ask HN: Teach me something new
Reptiles (and other ectothermal vertebrates) will “artificially” give themselves fevers by staying in heat sources longer when they’re fighting an infection. It’s called a behavioral fever.

larmstrong··on Word After Word: Natural Language Multiplayer Game
I love this!
larmstrong··on Ask HN: Do any beginner coders or those interested in tech want a free mentor?
I’m Interested as well. Hopefully you don’t already have your hands full with the other responders :)
larmstrong··on Why programmers don’t write documentation
This. As a technical writer, this is one of the biggest pain points of the job. While writing the documentation, valid questions will come up regarding design decisions, but no one has the answers.
larmstrong··on Show HN: Versioned structured data, with change-request mechanic, at scale
What would an example implementation of this be?
larmstrong··on Ask HN: What tool you use for notes and to organise thoughts?
I use Dynalist (https://dynalist.io/), which is a cross platform infinitely nested list tool that has a ton of features.
