Are you looking for a single integration that handles both PayPal and credit card transactions? Stripe users typically end up integrating both separately (though building a billing abstraction above both).

Correct! You set your price in USD, we present the amount in bitcoins to your customer, and guarantee you the price you set in USD.

The 'test' banner is indicative of which Stripe publishable keys you're using—test mode keys will result in the 'test' banner you see.

We felt that Checkout was the best integration point because it let us do some nice dynamic authentication logic instead of Alipay's usual redirect-based flow. Given that subtleties involved, Alipay's constraints, and the fact that it'll no doubt need to evolve in the future (as compared to the static standardization of credit cards), I think it'd be pretty tough to expose it via a straight API.

The Alipay integration with Checkout works just like Stripe.js, in that it will return a token that you can charge instantly, or attach to a customer and utilize for subscription, invoicing and recurring payments.

This will also be incredible for ease-of-setup. Install Xcode, and you're ready to go. No other dependencies.

Setting up a dev environment can be one of the big reasons people fail to learn to program.

We're actually testing a variant that does exactly this.

We do require SSL for Stripe.js usage as well -- Checkout is built on top of Stripe.js, so it has the same set of security requirements.

Not yet, though this is definitely on the near-term roadmap.

I'm afraid we don't support that use-case yet. If you'd still like to use Checkout, you could use it as a method for the user to add their card, and confirm the payment amount on a separate page. (the 'amount' field is not required)

Chase is issuing new cards -- the limits are temporary, and until the new cards arrive.

"Watch for your new card. We plan to reissue all affected debit cards and Chase Liquid Cards automatically over the coming weeks. Until then, you can use your debit or Liquid card with the temporary limits."
