Some of our inspiration came from a couple of earlier services we built for print and mail, where we constantly fielded questions from customers who wanted their mail to arrive faster.
We'd be interested in building an integration to automate this if you're up for it. Email team@sendovernightmail.com.
However there are a ton of cases where physical mail is essentially a legal or policy requirement. Some examples are settlement notices (for class actions and recalls), construction notices (for demolitions), gym membership cancellation letters, insurance claims, credit bureau settlements, certain tax documents & filings, etc.
In most of those cases, by the time you hit the use case, you haven't been to the post office or to a Fedex location in ages. We just make it easy to get over that hump.
All the work happens in your browser, and you'll receive tracking numbers and delivery notifications via email. Eager for feedback - thanks.
We built Sendovernightmail.com to make it easy for people to send time sensitive documents. A previous product enabled people to print and mail documents online, and one constant piece of feedback was that people often had urgent items, and our fulfillment times didn't support that.
Sendovernightmail makes it possible to - Deliver a document by tomorrow if it's ordered before 3pm EST today - Send documents via Fedex or USPS Priority or Express Mail - Get tracking numbers when an item is shipped - Get delivery confirmation emails when an item is delivered

"Character Comfort – Logographic-based languages can contain a lot of meaning in just few characters. While these characters can look cluttered and confusing to the western eye, they actually allow Japanese speakers to become comfortable with processing a lot of information in short period of time / space (the same goes for Chinese)."
The concept that your native language can impact information processing speed/density is pretty interesting.
The top payment processors all have a fixed component to their fees - we just absorb it into our pricing structure.
Out of curiosity what’s your use case? There are lots of subscription fax services out there (efax and hellofax are 2 popular ones)
EDIT: there’s definitely something to this thesis. In the case of faxes, they are an interface to older entities (government agencies and some businesses) and the unit cost for any individual to find a fax machine is relatively high. In addition, many fax services are venture funded and require subscriptions, when that isn’t really what many individuals need.

Best of luck regardless. Looks like lots of great options in this thread.
Mailform is focused on consumers and businesses who want an easy way to print and mail (for sending tax documents, invoices, estimates, brochures etc). Email us at team@mailform.io with questions.
It's a simple way to send any document (form, letter, receipt, invoice, tax document) via USPS mail, right from your browser.
We built it because we're too lazy to go to the post office at times, and we've since realized that most documents sent in the mail begin as a PDF on a computer, so now we're working on bringing down the cost (currently we have to pay both Lob and stripe for every mailing, which means lots of fixed costs).
Our next step will be enabling you to automate sending physical mail, the same way you can automate sending emails (for invoices, thank you notes, receipts, mailers etc, which lots of small businesses still use)
