kogasa240p··on Theranos.world
As someone who only knows Theranos by the creepy lady and that they did some scam this is very interesting. Only critique is that it calls Twitter X, which isn't historically accurate.

EDIT: uhh I thought the movie signup thing was a gag, didn't know it was real. Sorry I guess.

kogasa240p··on ICC judge on what U.S. sanctions mean for her and global courts
partially agreee but also 90% of crypto is either inefficient (btc), for scams (shitcoins), or weird pseudo-CBDC garbage (xrp/ripple/chainlink/icp) that don't have a use case outside of "it'll pump when payment processors adopt us!". Monero is probably the only coin that didn't get sucked into the post 2017 cryptobro mentality of "making it rich" and instead stayed the course of giving payment processors the finger.

> How many services take Monero? It also does not solve your health insurance being taken away.

Not much outside of drugs iirc but I'm hoping this serves as a major wake up call for people.

kogasa240p··on ICC judge on what U.S. sanctions mean for her and global courts
That's a CBDC, not really comparable to Monero.
kogasa240p··on ICC judge on what U.S. sanctions mean for her and global courts
Monero solves this btw.

This has been known for years, but it's good to see that more people are picking up to the fact.

If they have a systemD-less version I'd seriously consider using it.

Librewolf (sometimes Palemoon) + Ublock origin to disable Javascript. Many websites work a lot faster as well.
kogasa240p··on Global warming will exceed 1.5-degree limit, UN says
>Then, to fix it, we'll need a massive Direct Air Capture industry that will have to operate for a century, and probably past that so we can hit and maintain a CO2 level of 250ppm.

Removing CO2 from seawater would be more efficient because some of the work is already done for you, and you'd be de-acidifying the ocean long term.

Its biggest issue is adoption because it's very solid otherwise and even supports stuff like screen sharing.

kogasa240p··on NetBSD 11.0
Very nice, wonder what's the state of using NetBSD as a daily driver?
kogasa240p··on Linux on ESP32
Looks interesting but wouldn't something like netBSD be a better fit?
kogasa240p··on Bad Apple but It's Traceroute
What? How is Bad Apple sexual, all of the characters are doing something instead of just dancing around.

Thought about something similar a few months ago, love seeing it in action. The article was terrible however, dunno why every other sentence is bold. Genuenly feels like I'm reading a middle schooler trying to fulfill a word usage/sentience structure quota.
kogasa240p··on OpenNode – Bitcoin Payment Processor
Does it support Monero?
kogasa240p··on Does average person understand that all disc media dies too?
>Does average person understand that all disc media dies too?

Media on disks can be copied to fresh disks, and generally even the cheapest of disks will last a long time if stored properly. Digital media* on the other hand is subject to DRM insanity and legalese that states you are buying a "license" for a product rather than the product itself.
