klepra··on How I learnt to code in one year
Codecademy is free. I have been doing some lot's of codecademy exercises on HTML,CSS, Javascript and learnt solid basics of web desing/developemet but I have a CS degree so I knew how to program before but more theoretical computing(math problems in C and Java, Matlab). I wasn't really doing anything practical before.

Let other write more about Treehouse vs Codecademy.

Why is this thread not showing among first results? It is heavily up-voted.

Wrong or not, Ed's comment was very cold-hearted, uncompassionate, pretentious, egoistic even sexist. That said, I see a lot of this in IT/tech word in general and it makes me sad to work in this field.
klepra··on I created this small app for you, if you like to write
Nice! It would be cool if you could login/send it to your gmail inbox or something. Than later use it.

I would love to write emails in such editor!

klepra··on Dell releases powerful, well-supported Linux Ultrabook
I didn't find any official information about battery life. Anyone know about that? Personally good power management is what I miss with linux, it seems that I can only get around 2/3 of battery life in Ubuntu comparing to Windows.

Which course did you do if I may ask?

klepra··on Einstein's list of conditions for staying together with his wife
You are right from today's perspective. But you have to keep in mind that was early 19th century, maybe seperation than was harder for wife and children. EDIT: I meant early 20th centory...
klepra··on Einstein's list of conditions for staying together with his wife
Maybe.
klepra··on Einstein's list of conditions for staying together with his wife
Well, poster above me was implying that his demands were reasonable, as he is staying with her and children. If she wouldn't agree to him, he would leave and left her with children, that is not exactly unconditional love for his children and also sexist/macho.
klepra··on Einstein's list of conditions for staying together with his wife
So he was doing her a favour? Isn't he a father as well who should think for the best of his children too? So in other case he would just leave her with the children? Demanding 3 meals every day served or else is kind of disrespectful to someone you used to love.
