Impressive work by IBM, RIKEN, and Cleveland Clinic on their Gordon Bell Prize finalist recognition, simulating a 12,635-atom protein across Fugaku, RUQUO, Miyabi-G, and IBM Quantum processors.
It clearly underscores two things:
High-density molecular simulation is the single most critical bottleneck in modern bio-physics and drug discovery. Traditional iterative approaches (O(N^3) DFT matrix-inversion bottlenecks) require exponential supercomputing overhead just to step up atom counts.
At EXXOGEN, we approach this constraint from the mathematical foundation rather than throwing more hardware at it. By replacing iterative SCF loops with a closed-form analytical operator, we achieve continuous, sub-angstrom Potential Energy Surface (PES) outputs—mapping ultra-large macromolecules (1.11M+ interaction records) on standard hardware without supercomputing overhead.
High-performance computing optimizes the old curve. Closed-form physics draws a new one.
