Thank you for your links, I'll cover them soon in my next 'href hunt'.
I've also linked to these quite a lot, but hey:

The Internet is lacking good linkblogs - people don't run them nearly as much.
I cover what's happening in modern personal blogs and independent web weirdness. Rest assured, you can now put Buzzfeednooze safely behind you...
But also: self-promotion is a good thing. Or I should say: a better thing. If you can't promote your own project, then you are left to use advertising. This is why advertising is so hot right now. There aren't many avenues for self-promotion.
Let people post their links and let's see where the chips fall.
However, I do see a place for search. I would love to add search terms like 'Nicholas Cage' and any time his name comes up (or perhaps even a related topic) I can track that.
Just trying to sort out how to make it work, make it look.
It compiles RSS feeds and YouTube, Twitter, etc into a dashboard-like view rather than a crowded timeline. No notifications, no algorithm. Just a tool for a human. Easy to “move into the periphery”. Very calm, even when I’m following 100s of people.
It would be cool to see a similar list of promising/essential software. I would personally list Julia, Elm and Redis, for instance. But I could see people putting Kubernetes or Mastodon. Breaker Browser, SSB, Webmentions are already on my list.

My approach right now is to verify all of the links weekly by comparing last week's title tag on that page to this week's title tag. I've had to tweak this a bit - for PDF links or for pages that have dynamically generated titles - I can opt to use 'content-length' header or a meta tag. (Of course, the old title can be spoofed, so I'm going to improve my algorithm over time.)
I wish I had a way of seeding sites with you. I imagine we have some crossover on interests and would also love to contribute bandwidth - as would some of your other readers I'm sure.
