khingebjerg··on Web Development for Beginners – A Curriculum
It looks great, thank you. I think it’s great to introduce accessibility early, but wouldn’t it be a good idea to have a brief introduction to HTML before the accessibility section? Or are you supposed to read about HTML on MDN as part of section 01?
khingebjerg··on Ask HN: Which book are you reading these days?
"Thinking, Fast and Slow" by Daniel Kahneman.

Review in The New York Times: http://www.nytimes.com/2011/11/27/books/review/thinking-fast...

khingebjerg··on This is Why You Spent All that Time Learning to Program
Amazing how much it means what time of day you post a story.

khingebjerg··on Amber.js (formerly SproutCore 2.0) is now Ember.js (and released)
That is just a protocol relative url.

khingebjerg··on Amount of profanity in git commit messages per programming language
The commit messages. https://github.com/AndrewVos/github-statistics/blob/master/p...
khingebjerg··on Stackoverflow: Are there any famous one-man-army programmers?
Don't know about famous, but this guy seems like a one-man-army-programmer. http://www.losethos.com/
khingebjerg··on Can you name the Programming Language if You Know The Creators?
I thought James Strachan was the creator of Groovy.
khingebjerg··on "Please take this down and write your own book."
Perhaps because of the provocative title. I actually think that it shows even less class from martinemde, that he posted that himself.
khingebjerg··on Why You Should Be Using Virtualisation In Your Development Environment
Perhaps a middle ground could be using a virtual machine as a staging environment?
khingebjerg··on NoSQL: Comparing the Different Solutions
Why link to readwriteweb instead of the real comparison?

khingebjerg··on Tell HN: HNdroid, Hacker News android client
I can't open the "Coming Home to Vim" link, from the app. It just crashes. I have it setup to open the comments.
khingebjerg··on Build An Opensource Dropbox Clone
Old news. http://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=1196421
khingebjerg··on Ask HN: What Vim Plugins do you use?
If you watch the PeepCode screencasts "Smash into Vim", http://peepcode.com/products/smash-into-vim-ii, (I only watched part two) they have a .vim directory that you can use as a starter. Specifically it uses the pathogen plugin to organize the plugins into a bundle directory, which i find much nicer.
khingebjerg··on How a Failed App Became a Business
I thought I read this before...

khingebjerg··on Clojure's edge on Node.js
In my eyes it's more structured, since it's all data structures.
khingebjerg··on Goodbye Tokyo Cabinet, hello PostgreSQL
I submitted it because I like reading about your experiments with your blog, and I thought others would like it too.

A person hacking on his own stuff, just to try out things, is hacker news to me.

khingebjerg··on Ask HN: File browsing with xmonad in Ubuntu?
You could use Thunar, it's lightweight and fast.
khingebjerg··on How useful is game theory?
Looks like the Colts are all over this, with 601 pass attempts vs. only 366 rush attempts, during the 2009 regular season. Has the head coach Jim Caldwell, or more likely Peyton Manning, been reading up on Game Theory?
khingebjerg··on Ideas for the new catonmat.net website
I don't think no. 30 is a good idea, I find it very irritating when a site does this. If I want to open something in a new window/tab, I'll do it myself.
khingebjerg··on Poll: What is your primary *nix distro on your home machine?
Arch on my netbook, quad core workstation and my Lenovo X300. Simplicity at its best.
khingebjerg··on Poll: What OS do you use everyday, or most often?
A lot of people have to use Windows at work, and i think that's why Windows scores that high in the visitor OS breakdown.
