Now running a cryptocurrency hedge fund and www.getkratom.com is still going

I miss nickb and have slowly come to terms with the fact that I was the only one that ever believed nickb wasn't pg.
My topcolor is f1e9d9If this isn’t shut down quickly, I predict we see a national movement like this by Juneteenth.
I also like the NY Times article https://www.nytimes.com/2020/06/11/us/seattle-autonomous-zon... and this Facebook status as information sources : https://www.facebook.com/605305752/posts/10157217465630753/?...
You can’t lock down the healthy in America for a year to protect the weak. Those in fear think this is going to end soon but it isn’t. Instead, people need to decide how to live their lives in our new, fundamentally unsafe pandemic society.
My roommate Cassandra Lewis is playing today at 7PM Pacific time. https://www.facebook.com/events/1124539067909664/ Our house's twitch account is http://twitch.tv/sueassociates. We play video games with music on in the background and occasionally break into improv jam sessions.
Frankly, I've been in the legal drug space running www.getkratom.com for 13 years and things are fine because the plant actually is so profoundly safe. Orrin Hatch plus lots of veterans of the US armed forces calling their representatives is what saved it from a federal ban. It already went through that due process and didn't get banned.
Running a crypto hedge fund feels more dangerous to me in many ways that my simple, though controversial, ecommerce business. :) I'm doing fine and must like living on the edge.
At my sales volume I can't reasonably fly under the radar this way; I'm sure a tiny or start up operation could for at least a little while but it's not sustainable.
I'll likely be starting some kind of non-profit in the space with Thomas Ray within the next year. Check out his research:

You could invest in quasi-legal grow ops in areas where mushrooms have been mostly decriminalized, like Oakland, California. You could invest in the largest marijuana companies that are the most likely to pivot to other plant medicines.
But, otherwise, basically, no, there is no reasonable way to invest in psychedelic mushrooms right now. Possibly buying domain names.
Something I did predicting the future of this industry was buy buylsd.com 5 years ago for $1500 (not operating now obviously until that's legal but another ten years would be a long time, I think). www.buymushrooms.com will similarly go up enormously in value in a future with widely legal drugs, at least as long as that is still a future with .com type in traffic and prioritized search engine rankings. I don't own buymushrooms.com but that would probably be a great investment at $10k, questionable at over $100k.
With Operation Chokepoint over, the DEA/FDA still have colluded to prevent the kratom industry from processing credit cards. For my website www.getkratom.com, we take checks, echecks, and cryptocurrency. Sales are about 1/3 of what they were when we were able to take credit cards.
Your comment is exactly the kind that threatens to make this thread a trainwreck. Be nice! Rachel is a very real person that can't raise money on Kickstarter because Kickstarter can't deal with one asshole posting 400 spam comments.

It's long and hard to understand, but easier to understand than other explanations of quantum physics.
You can skip right to the answer, though you may not accept it without having understood the background.

>If you can see the moments of now braided into time, the causal dependencies of future states on past states, the high-level pattern of synapses and the internal narrative as a computation within it - if you can viscerally dispel the classical hallucination of a little billiard ball that is you, and see your nows strung out in the river that never flows - then you can see that signing up for cryonics, being vitrified in liquid nitrogen when you die, and having your brain nanotechnologically reconstructed fifty years later, is actually less of a change than going to sleep, dreaming, and forgetting your dreams when you wake up.
