Make babies, and compilers.
They trained on my code, joke's on them now!
It fits entirely to be supported on consoles.
Fundamentally, until we can really prove we're humans online, open-source has a real problem on its hands. Contributions from people from identities known and consistent before the AI-age are fine, everyone else is suspicious. LGTM is a big risk nowadays.
You're not even paying for a google service, search is free... You might be the product, and your data, but you didn't directly pay for a service and they didn't sell you a fake service.
I'm not taking Google's side, this isn't about whether it's right or wrong to rob websites of traffic, this is about AI's returning search metadata.
But I'm surprised that they lost this argument, and the line they took in the first place.
The Internet isn't made of fact checked data, it's crowd sourced. How can anyone be liable?
However there is justice for commenting poorly, there doesn't seem to be justice for posting lies and deceit, which is borderline a serial case here(?).
Common man, you're not even 5% of a Github replacement. Don't act like one. You've built a Git web UI with accounts, the easy part.
> Building software is still hard
You don't say.
Use varying email `plus addressing` (john+am2604@foo.com), varying passwords or passkey and 2FA on anything remotely important (use of your identity, not just financials).
I just want to emphasise a point... Calculators give 100% correct answers and yet we still hire accountants; for the simple fact that we don't want all to be accountants.
People will hire software engineers for the simple fact that they do not want to be software engineers.
+90% users in the past 3.5 years
huh? That is incredible growth. How is it even measured?Reminds me of Ecstatica [1], a 1994 game that had intense visuals with a very odd/different rendering engine made of 3D ellipsoids; in a way really crude splats in gouraud shading.
mmmkay.
It's like people pulling their phones out while taking a piss standing, or having to pull their phones out when the traffic lights are red in a crossing.
Just, do one thing at a time, live a life.
Shipping code from your phone, whhhyy. Mates, this isn't a flex, it's depression.
AbstractFinalFactoryShaiHuludSerialisedFactory This project in particular has been unconcerned with new coding practices so far, primarily, because I derive pleasure from hand-written implementations of my ideas, and believe that overcoming challenges the hard way is the main value I get from it.
This 100% the same for me. Outside of work where speed is more important than quality, and I work with people that use AI, I don't use AI at all on my own projects. It poisons the mind and the soul. Ok that sounds dramatic, but I felt down up until the point where I started hand writing everything again. Software engineering is still fun and powerful, and the hell with where the world is going. ... bidirectional communication with the kernel happens via shared memory.
What could possibly go wrong? They'll kill us all, or they'll kill each other. They sure as hell ain't making the world a better place, like they promised.
I love C, but the shear amount of CVE and crashes are much worse in terms of global energy usage than if it were safe. I imagine the strongest strong-typing ranking that can be saved would come from Swift, where Rust's compile time would tank its ranking...
