Who said anything about it having virtually zero traffic? It has a lot of traffic actually.

The stuff sold in flippa in my experience are small niche websites, whereas this is a big opportunity for the right team. Maybe I havent spent enough time on flippa!

Thanks for that, will check this out!

Flippa seems like it deals in small wordpress style sites focused on niches. I think we are trying to sell a business. We have put it up on Flippa, but haven't had much traction so far. Do you know of any other sites like Flippa, but more for bigger sites?

Thanks, I had not heard of ebay as a place to sell a website. Will give it a try.

Great documentary. A reminder of why we do what we do!

Good read!I never heard of a triple A ticket before. How did you manage to get that?

Good point! I think we would need to think long and hard about the articles to include. Maybe 10 years from now a lot of the stuff would be out of date, but I think for the next 1 to 2 years it would be relevant. Thanks for the comment and feedback.

We are looking at ways of addressing this. We have a couple of ideas, but nothing solidified yet.

Would really appreciate any feedback or thoughts on this.

Is it something that would interest you?

Interesting read, still cant believe they deported your girlfriend even though she had a return ticket. That is incredible!

Very interesting read. My girlfriend is American and I am from Ireland, we have had a few close calls.Luckily nothing has happened yet!Heathrow is notoriously bad for deporting people. Just wondering, how did you get bumped up to premium? I have a long flight coming up and trying to see if there are any tricks to getting bumped up for free.

I find drinking a lot of water keeps me alert. I read that the brain uses a lot of water so I started drinking water and trying to stay hydrated at all times. Not sure if its placebo or it actually works. I have also started meditating recently and I find it very good to relax before I go to sleep. It also keeps me happy and sane.I use this site, I haven't upgraded to the paid version. http://www.getsomeheadspace.com I find the below a good blog for productivity and well being articles. http://www.bakadesuyo.com

Thanks for that, appreciate the advice.

I havent started paying yet, but I wonder if its worth it? I have been using the free version and find it very good.

Having said that, it sounds like if I just followed your advice above I may get the same results as I get from listening to the tracks getsomeheadspace provides.

They do have some useful videos as well that explain more about meditation.Meditation was a bit of mystery to me before watching them. The gamification element also helps.

Thanks Joey, if you have any recommendations for articles or how the book should look I would be happy to hear them.

Thanks for the feedback! Any thoughts are greatly appreciated!

Okay, true it’s not front page worthy. I guess I got a little over excited when I saw my daily workload disappearing :).

True, new to me though. Thought I would share it with the HN community.

Thank you for your response.Good idea regarding the coupon codes, that is something I will look at doing. Do you think people care that they are affiliate links?

I used make about €200 a month on hubpages until Google Panda hit.The majority of this came via Amazon affiliate sales. I still make a bit now, but it is way down.

Thanks Robin, I will check out your job board and I am going to start posting to GitHub.

Thanks Colin, appreciate the advice!

Thanks bulltale, very good advice there. Appreciate the help!

Thanks for the feedback, so you think adding code to github or building a websites is essential?

Okay, thanks for the input. Will keep mixpanel in mind!

I heard Mixpanel is cool alright, have you tried flurry? How do they compare?

Hi, I am a big movie fan, especially indie movies. To answer your first question I like the idea of a way of helping me find movies that I may never see or hear of. However, I am a little confused about how the whole thing works. I think you need to be clearer on the landing page regarding what I as a potential user should do.Should I register first, should I begin by searching a movie related to my mood.

So to answer your questions I think the problem you are trying to solve is an existing one, but there are current solutions to it e.g currently, when I am looking for a good movie I go to metacritic.com and search for the highest rated movies. Anything I haven't seen I usually try and watch.

I hope this helps.Best of luck!

Sounds great, I am a big fan of google analytics. Will keep an eye out for the launch of the mobile specific one, but for now I guess I will go with flurry.

Thanks for that info, just signed up to flurry this morning. Currently reading up on events and their importance in iOS analytics. Is it worth integrating them at the beginning or should I wait to see what I should track before putting events in?It seems like flurry will give me all the data I need with or without events?

Thanks for the advice, have you used it? Any downsides to using flurry? Their website says they are free, but they must make money somehow? Is my data safe?
