kasperni··on Denmark data breach exposes 8.8M people's personal data
Nobody knows exactly what was accessed. What you have listed is what the register contains, not what was accessed. People with "Protected addresses" have specifically not been compromised.
kasperni··on US tells France and Germany to release diesel stocks or face US export ban
Yeah, he is just going to ban it anyway a month from now. So EU will be at the mercy of USA/Russia.

It's okay, we're an AI company now.
kasperni··on Agreement between the USA and Denmark (1951,2004) [pdf]
That what Trump got, was basically what could been negotiated by just asking nicely years ago. So lot of drama for nothing
kasperni··on GPT-6 Astra
yes it is.
kasperni··on GPT-6 Astra
"On the current ARC-AGI-3 leaderboard, conventional frontier-model runs sit dramatically below Astra's reported 98.6% result.

But the comparison isn't straightforward.

OpenAI's own evaluation notes say Astra uses the company's Responses API harness, while comparison models can operate under different configurations."

kasperni··on Qwen3.8-Flash-Next Intelligence, Performance and Price Analysis
Maybe a bit of context for this post? Some people have a life outside of AI.
kasperni··on Chinese robot runs 100M sprint quicker than Usain Bolt's world record
The live stream was here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SOVNn1aRAIE

Watching robot after robot being taken away on a stretcher was pretty funny.

kasperni··on JDK 27 G1/Parallel/Serial GC Changes
Are people still dealing with GC issues?

I find that it basically just more or less works out of the box on modern JVMs.

kasperni··on The infinite scroll may become endangered if controversial Calif. law passes
We also removed choices to drive without a seat belt or sell lead paint. Was that a bad thing?
kasperni··on JEP 539: Strict Field Initialization in the JVM moved to preview
Strict Field Initialization is opt-in. A flag needs to be set in the classfile in order to enable it. So should not effect any existing code.

Not the same, but omeone recently posted this "port" tool here on HN: https://github.com/raskrebs/sonar

kasperni··on Tell HN: MitID, Denmark's digital ID, was down
> but it's a privacy nightmare.

I've gone the other way from Denmark to UK. And I've often had to mail copies of my passport or other identity documents via email. And my bank requires me to regular scan my face to check that it aligns with the picture in my passport.

kasperni··on HPV vaccination reduces oncogenic HPV16/18 prevalence from 16% to <1% in Denmark
It has really been a great success in Denmark.

In the 1960s, more than 900 people were diagnosed with cervical cancer each year, corresponding to more than 40 cases per 100,000 Danes.

Today, that number is below 10 per 100,000 nationwide – and among women aged 20 to 29, only 3 out of 100,000 are affected. This is below the WHO’s threshold for elimination of the disease.

kasperni··on Overlooked No More: Inge Lehmann, Who Discovered the Earth's Inner Core
