I was in the Philippines at the time, we got a repatriation flight to come back to the US but before we were allowed to fly, we had to go all over town, to several offices and get xrays, urinalysis, and basic health screening. The goal was some pointless health certificate required to travel. At the time there were no COVID tests so they somehow thought that having people go all over town interacting with countless people to get health checks that didn't matter or detect COVID made sense...
Also, they can then just recycle/dispose of the paper and don't have to worry about reselling/donating the books themselves. I suspect this is all about speed of data ingestion and anything else is a side effect they don't care about.
You can right-click and open in a specific container tab but I dislike the extra step, bookmarks really should be able to be set for a specific container.
Reading through the comments here someone said:

Might have to go hunting for that but IMHO this should be a built-in feature!
Maybe the videos were fake, but I saw at least a couple of this happening.
(/s if not obvious!)
Last time I looked at Laptops that supported ECC it was a very short and very expensive list. At least I could get enterprise datacenter SSDs... once upon a time...
I know that I DONT want iLO/IPMI/Redfish on a laptop though, the out of band stuff eats up a ton of power.
Not trying to discourage you from building your thing, but just figure that's worth considering.
Also, I could see why developers would want excessive logging in their betas, so that's kind of a catch-22 (without the verbose logs it might be harder to fix bugs found in the beta)
The AI security tool then, retroactively discovered that it could have been used for LPE.
Again, just my guess I could be wrong.
