I am a Senior Software Engineer with a decade of experience bridging deep machine learning foundations with modern agent infrastructure. Previously a Senior Developer Relations Engineer at Google and a Founding Engineer at Descartes Labs.
Recently, I architected the open-source https://github.com/googleworkspace/cli in Rust—built entirely via AI agents which hit 20k+ stars and #1 on HN. My background spans building petabyte-scale Kubernetes architectures, engineering visual search engines over billions of satellite images, and developing full-stack embedded Rust IoT firmware with custom LoRa mesh networking for endurance races.
I excel at taking systems from 0 to 1 and driving adoption developer experiences. I'm looking for Senior/Staff or Founding Engineer roles where I can tackle complex distributed systems or build secure, agent-first infrastructure.
Or grow the economy at a faster rate.
I regularly go over 1TB in a month without throttling on the standard plan...
I'm not sure what would be capable of moving that :) https://www.esa.int/ESA_Multimedia/Images/2021/01/In_perspec...
I wish it was that great. Works until you need to have a different version than some other piece of code, import a dependency that requires 100 others, or you need to build for some other platform than the "blessed" target. I choose google3 only when I have to or when I am certain of the scope. (I am in DevRel, so I have more options than typical engineers for my work)
- alcohol --
- long run or ultra race --- (takes a week to recover)
- early to bed ++
- short to moderate run +
my resting heart rate, sleep respiratory rate, and HRV are highly correlated
Again this has no basis.
The prescribed fire that caused this 300k+ acre fire was supposed to be 1204 acres. That 1204 is the boundary of the possible burn area and the actual area burnt with even moderate intensity was probably planned to be much smaller.
These are meaningless distinctions.
> the need for localized ecological and geographical knowledge
Fire managers and all of the other resource specialists for the majority of agencies are already local.
> cool fires
not anything unique here. depends entirely on the objectives/goals. if it is to remove juniper in the southwest US, a smoldering fire won't be enough. wildland fire fighters already almost exclusively do the most work at night whether it is a prescribed fire or wildfire. it's a distinction without meaning.
techniques used today are almost always a function of numerous risk calculations and political factors; not some lack of understanding of fire behavior or local knowledge
