If book < 100 pages, I'm more likely to read it.

Can only recommend it to others after reading.

ACCC likely has full power to compel compliance (within Australia) if Apple/Google want to continue operating in Australia, they use this law: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Competition_and_Consumer_Act_2...
justaguy88··on Are we ready to see satellites built on an assembly line approach?
Hitting one satellite is a hell of a warning shot though. Literally no one wants the debris clouds.

Every country, US included, would pressure SpaceX to stop operating in countries that don't want it if it were to result in any debris.

justaguy88··on Remote working: Is Big Tech going off work from home?
I think it was more of an indictment on the actual effectiveness of management's attempts at providing career growth in the general sense.

Can always job hop for promotions, no need for your manager to be involved

justaguy88··on Remote working: Is Big Tech going off work from home?
> Employees were also expected to "live within commuting distance" of offices.

I can't see how the must-be-in-office companies think they win this in the long term.

All the companies that want to poach from FAANG will offer remote work

justaguy88··on Volkswagen will not change name of U.S. operations: sources
I certainly didn't think it was a joke, it's seemed a perfectly reasonable thing to do

* They got in trouble for diesel

* They're pivoting to electric

* The name sounds really similar, within the bounds of accent changes between cultures

* The logo (VW) wouldn't have to change

If it was a joke, then it failed because it was too realistic
