jtmiclat··on Ask HN: How can I calculate CO2 emission of servers/VPS?
ThoughtWorks made an app that does this: https://github.com/cloud-carbon-footprint/cloud-carbon-footp... but mainly works with aws, azure, and gcp

You might be interested in their methodology page https://cloudcarbonfootprint.org/docs/methodology/

Full disclosure: My company was one of the early testers of the app

jtmiclat··on Show HN: mbtiles-s3-server – serve vector map tiles directly from mbtiles on S3
This is pretty cool! Didn't know you can query SQLite databases from s3. I recently tried out PMTiles[1] to do something similar but it requires an extra processing step. Would anybody know the pros and cons of this vs PMTtiles?
