Why humans that lived for millions of years in different enviroments would evolve the same way? I don't really get the things about "racism", it would be more absurd if people thought that there are no differences between races. Some are clearly visible (skin color for example).
From what I've heard from native Swedes they are fed up with the amount of propaganda thrown by the media. I've seen photos of criminal immigrants "whiten-up" so there is no outcry against the crazy immigration. I think the IKEA stabbing and the grenade attacks are getting harder to cover up.
The point is that if you oppose the massive immigration in Sweden (or say Germany) you're gonna get lynched (loose your job for example, become a persona non grata) so there is no effective free speech.
More like i don't bend myself to fit the hivemind/status quo. Maybe Copernicus also didn't contribute nothing of value cause the comunnity thought so? As I said most times there is no sensible rebuttal to the facts/thesis given, it's only "i don't like your opinion so go away". After some time the board/comunnity degenerates to a echo chamber where the nails that stand out are quickly hammered in
Still i prefer a place like 4chan where there is true freedom of speech and not a place like reddit ruled by facistic mods.
On HN you also can't really say many things cause it is moderated, I've experienced it many times that people will just try to ban/downvote you into oblivion instead of discussing anything.
I would like to see how a system like this would fare against something like the Einstein puzzle. And how it would fare against a human when it comes to real-world tasks and descriptions.
Still pretty amazing and shows real progress.
Just fuck my shit up fam, jesus... and I was thinking about shorting it friday. Oh well, gotta wait it out. Just hope it won't take 5 years not counting inflation
The thing is what now? Using Linux everyday is atleast problematic, sometimes impossible (I've had like 20 distros and played with it a lot, used it in my job, etc.) cause of apps/drivers/etc.
And what about phones? When iOS/Android/WP is a mobile botnet node what should I use? A 3310 Nokia? Is there any viable alernative? Is iOS/Apple the same vultures as Google/MS when it comes to privacy?
Or alteast you think it does. The thing is as I said with a rooted box, after it's rooted you can never be sure there ain't no backdoor left. It doesn't need to regularly communicate with an external server, it can probably dump data at some odd dates so it's much harder to track. The thing is there is no damage control with a botnet client by design like Windows 10
IMO the thing is You can never be sure what the system is doing underneath. It's like a rooted box, you need to wipe it clean cause you can never be sure if the backdoor is still there
Shouldn't the built-in botnet/spyware push all major companies and goverments away from Windows? I don't know how they would be ok with all they're data sent/shared with them (and probably a dozen of US agencies). It's like buying a rooted by design system
How much more genocides are needed before some crazy idealists realize that communism is a utterly dangerous idea that has little to do with reality? We had/have the Soviets, NK, China, Cambodia and few others with the toll in tens of millions (or more than a hundred) and some entitled middle-upper class pricks still want to "save the world" with this flawed to the core idea?
The people who downvote could elaborate on how this magnificient plan should work. And why it should be implemented? Because communism on paper also seems like a valid idea and then millions die
So what is this about? The horror of competing with a bigger company? Google didn't kill your startup, You did. You did that after You got scared and didn't have nothing interesting/unique to compete with them. Stop crying, most people are in debt to the rest of their lives after their companies fail.
Why should I care as a consumer? The musicians aren't 5 year old children and should know for what they're signing. I pay the subscription and get the product, you really don't have anything more interesting to do than trying to find problems where there ain't none?
