Just by reading the first paragraph I can see how unbiased this article will be.

The gplv3 has been an utter failure. Trying to rewrite history so the gplv2 works like the gplv3 is pathetic and will be the last nail in the coffin of the GPL.

The ballistics industry should be rubbing their hands.

What's the difference? Some people make a big deal out of males/females vs men/women and I don't get it.

Okay, I agree with everything you said, BUT we were lied to when we were promised that we'd be back to normal life if we got vaccinated.

We should have had all the information when we made the choice of getting vaccinated or not. You say most people would've gotten vaccinated, I say they wouldn't have. We'll never know, since we were lied to.

Why would I want to vaccinate if I'm still going to get restricted?

I mean the whole deal here was that if we got vaccinated we'd be back to normal life. If that wasn't the case they should've been sincere up front and most of us wouldn't have gotten vaccinated.

I don't rationalise it as a good thing. I think there are many things to consider when buying a phone and this is just one of them.

Lately Apple started mandating that apps like telegram or discord must make it impossible for iPhone users to see nsfw content, which has tipped the balance towards android for me. For the first time in many years I'm using an Android phone. But as I said, one of all the factors to consider.

If Amnesty stands by something, better to steer away from it

Why is he acting as if he invented upvotes and downvotes?

Any comment that criticises the EU gets downvoted immediately here.

In Spain soon it will be impossible to pay more than 1k in cash. Current limit is around 3k iirc. I guess it's the same in most EU countries.

I'm not defending his actions as I have no horse in this race, but he seems to have the support of his country - why should the EU be above that?

Practically all of this happened in Spain. Recently one of the higher courts ruled our first lockdown, which was absolute, as unconstitutional. Over a year later! They will return all the money they stole from us in fines. But what about the time, and our rights? If I had known this I would've gone out...

And they have the media in their pockets so no one will complain. Until recently we were forced to wear a mask always, even if we were completely alone in the middle of the street. The police kicked doors down if they suspected there was a reunion going on in your private property. It was a nightmare.

If you are American, cherish your freedom! You don't know how valuable it is.

If poor people didn't own that kind of stuff then pawn shops wouldn't exist, but they clearly do and are a good business in impoverished neighbourhoods.

That's a very romantic view of society, but a graduate on poetry will most likely spend the rest of her days writing copy for a marketing agency, selling burgers, or cleaning latrines. And that's ignoring the fact that you really don't need to study "poetry" for four years to be able to write poems.

On the other hand, degrees are "free" in Europe, and I don't want my tax money spent on people doing masters degrees on "poetry".

The fact that you have to pay for your degree out of pocket may mean that more people will choose to do degrees that are worth something, which is a great thing for society overall. Having said that the prices of degrees in the US are outrageous. A middle ground should be found.

When I read something like this all I see is an ad.

That limit wouldn't work in many countries.

Writing words takes time and effort. Time and effort cost money.

It's from someone who uses "right wing" as a slur... Of course it's very delusional.

What I think is interesting is that Jobs made all these decisions and cared so much about the software experience.

If you told me Satya Nadella doesn't use Windows I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest.

You mean for the US maybe. In Europe I don't think people cared that much.

I also remember they have a sticker with the chances of winning.

Some people are absolutely rotten and obsessed with politics.

How about people with direct database access?

I trust 4chan over "journalists" any day.

Like where? Is there any other community that is open, respects free speech and allows anonymous, long posts?

>By making sites request this information rather than simply always sending it like the User-Agent header currently does, browsers gain the ability to deny excessively intrusive requests when they occur.

Browsers can just not send a UA header

Evidently, since Reddit is a content aggregator.

Doesn't seem like that's a good idea, since the supply of vaccines is not infinite.
