From the article, the idea is interesting. But does it mean that it is possible for Stalqer to collect enough data to map AT&T NAT IP to 3G cell ID for location? I though AT&T would randomly assign NAT IP for users' privacy.
Anyone has idea how to make it more portable between AMI and UEC KVM image (or UEC Xen image at least)? vmbuilder doesn't seem to solve the problem.
But I think Bonjour may be the biggest winner if WiFi Direct wins since, unlike Bluetooth profiles, WiFi Direct doesn't include any application layer. Bonjour will fit in the need of service discovery protocol.

On revenue model, it is ok to charge for premium API since it hosts infrastructure. Still hope to have some mechanism like Hg or Git to make open database distributed and synced, so other companies can host the data if they wish.
With censorship on print books, China is already the biggest market for eBooks (no copyright though).

All input on touchscreen including innovative gestures still requires users to place their fingers directly onto their eyeballs: either with head looking down or with hands rising up. Both postures are not very productive for programming or desk jobs and can't sustain for long hours.
iPhone is more successful because of light weight and more sensors. To make tablets usage experience better, Internet tethering and sensor sharing via iPhone will help a lot.
