joemazerino··on Super ZSNES – GPU Powered SNES Emulator
I see ZNES and I upvote.
joemazerino··on Open source memory layer so any AI agent can do what Claude.ai and ChatGPT do
The biggest issue for me is recalling during conversation context, not jotting information down. I've solved this by including a tag for when to nudge the agent to recall something.

ie: "$recall words"

it works but its clunky

joemazerino··on Show HN: Browser Harness – Gives LLM freedom to complete any browser task
Browser-use is incredible. Solving captchas via proxy is a wild experience when steering in the browser.

One issue I have is the pricing. The API is straightforward and easy to deploy, but it seems the API is restricted to a paid tier. Using the inline agent sessions seems possible via the free plan.

Happy to accept corrections if I'm wrong.

joemazerino··on US Department of Justice has officially reclassified cannabis as less dangerous
Agreed. The same scrutiny applied to alcohol and nicotine should be applied to cannabis. A positive about this DOJ change is science labs can now legally start dissecting the plant to create CBD, CBN and/or CBG products.
joemazerino··on The Vercel breach: OAuth attack exposes risk in platform environment variables
How did the Roblox cheat pass EDR?
joemazerino··on Original GrapheneOS responses to WIRED fact checker
Is it that Donaldson wanted to pursue deals with criminals or he wanted to backdoor an OS for a defense contractor or that he was a government spy? From the article it seems like none. Claims need receipts or they are blind assertions.

Me? I was a CopperheadOS user from the 2021 rebuild era before GrapheneOS existed in its state. All I've seen from GrapheneOS and Micay are claims without evidence and over-moderation of points they don't agree with.

joemazerino··on Original GrapheneOS responses to WIRED fact checker
Have any pieces of evidence to support this?
joemazerino··on Dad brains: How fatherhood rewires the male mind
On the right line. Lower sleep, higher coping (bad diet, alcohol etc) would lead to T destruction. Not surprised BBC didn't connect the dots here.
joemazerino··on I am definitely missing the pre-AI writing era
I'd push back on the author and ask him really if his writing is getting worse or his standards have increased, leading to undue stress that might throw the flow state off.
joemazerino··on GrapheneOS will remain usable by anyone without requiring personal information
GOS twitter said Motorola's devices will come with the capability to unlock the bootloader, which tracks what the hardware requirements are.
joemazerino··on Vatican Rebukes Peter Thiel's Antichrist Lectures in Rome
Maybe that's why he's on this weird technocrat-humanist tour of his.

Coming to grips with his Sin by trying to explain the Antichrist "but not THE Antichrist because that would require believe in the Bible".

joemazerino··on Vatican Rebukes Peter Thiel's Antichrist Lectures in Rome
Thiel is not a Christian?
joemazerino··on Bored of eating your own dogfood? Try smelling your own farts
The age old problem. Customer service isn't supposed to be mind numbingly unfathomable, and responding to customers should be easy. Unfortunately, unless higher management engages (is that Bezos or Gates? I've heard both) things will get lost in the mix.
joemazerino··on Prompt-caching – auto-injects Anthropic cache breakpoints (90% token savings)
Firing off cache writing costs 1.2x tokens iirc. Meaning non repeatable tasks will cost more in the long run.
joemazerino··on Iran-backed hackers claim wiper attack on medtech firm Stryker
They couldn't, and that's the point.

Iran is a state sponsor of Islamic terrorist groups worldwide and have contributed to thousands of deaths, including children. None of it is justified but let's not pretend it's one sided.

joemazerino··on Jolla on track to ship new phone with Sailfish OS, user-replaceable battery
Jolla is working on a unification attestation program for companies to solve this problem.

joemazerino··on GPT‑5.3 Instant
Good point -- it's not just you. The big picture hits different.
joemazerino··on UK infants ill after drinking contaminated baby formula of Nestle and Danone
Chinese citizens routinely import baby formula from the West because they don't trust their own country's manufacturing standards.

Something to think about.

joemazerino··on Ask HN: Any real OpenClaw (Clawd Bot/Molt Bot) users? What's your experience?
GLM 4.7-flash does very well although OpenClaw has some work to do for CoT.
joemazerino··on Moltbook is the most interesting place on the internet right now
Odd that this coincides with OpenAI sunsetting its way-too-syncophantic model 4o. Imagine 300 4o bots all blowing hundreds of dollars in API tokens to reinforce each other.
joemazerino··on EFF to Close Friday in Solidarity with National Shutdown
This may be a weird take for some but I don't care if cartel members or fraudsters get the right to privacy. That's not why I've been following and donating to the EFF since the mid 90s.

Making sure I get unfettered access to the OS I run and devices I buy is a good cause. Defending criminals (many violent) or directly interfering with law enforcement doing it's job is not.

joemazerino··on Flux 2 Klein pure C inference
It doesn't lose the prompt but slowly drains out of context. Use the PreCompact hook to write a summary.
joemazerino··on Flux 2 Klein pure C inference
All sessions are located in the `~/.claude/projects/foldername` subdirectory.
joemazerino··on Autism hasn't increased
Most comments here are bashing the author and reference, not the material. Applied to a left-leaning professor (is: Chomsky) would be an interesting thought experiment.
joemazerino··on Why India's big cities are becoming unliveable
Becoming?
joemazerino··on Privacy doesn't mean anything anymore, anonymity does
Look up Chat Control.
joemazerino··on Privacy doesn't mean anything anymore, anonymity does
The US isn't the sole transgressor against privacy. EU has made that pretty clear in the last month.
joemazerino··on Privacy doesn't mean anything anymore, anonymity does
I like the idea of this but I'm a certain this article is AI generated.
joemazerino··on OpenAI are quietly adopting skills, now available in ChatGPT and Codex CLI
I appreciate Claude not training on my data by default. ChatGPT through the browser does not give you that option.
joemazerino··on A Nicotine Analogue I Had Known and Didn't Love: 6-Methylnicotine
Glad I'm reading this while on a nicotine break...
