You will have a hard time attracting customers as most common marketing channels are very saturated.

By default, the connection pool in Rails contains 5 connections, and they time out within 5 seconds.
Except for some rare exceptions, it's been doing pretty great. I don't have any plans to migrate from SQLite any time soon.
I started a company using Atlas in 2019 and have been using SVB since then. They're not great, but they're not terrible either. The monthly fee is annoying, but I treat it as insurance of sorts (so that I won't depend on the whims of one single bank).
I use Mercury as my secondary bank account and can recommend them.
It does bring excitement and joy, but this feeling is rather - you constantly have to chase it.
> If I wanted to maximize someone's happiness over time, I'd try to keep them in state where they are almost achieving their set goals for as long as possible.
There's a risk of burning out, so I'd be careful with that.
Personally, I define happiness as being content with where you are right now - you wouldn't want to be in any other place, in any other time, in any other state of mind. You're happy here, right now. You have your inner peace.
I was listening to a podcast some time ago, and one quote struck a chord with me: “Desire is a contract you make with yourself to be unhappy until you get what you want”.
Perhaps happiness is a choice after all.

Thanks everyone for the input!

I'll read up on this, thanks for bringing it up!
Btw, the website you linked doesn't work for me. I get the "Uncaught (in promise) TypeError: navigator.geolocation is undefined" on Firefox 98.0.2 on macOS 12.3.1
I experimented with different colors, but seems like all of them produce this illusion :/
I'll see what I can do.
Well, now they're rectangles!

You haven't presented a single shred of evidence disproving my claims - because you can't.
Khojaly massacre is recognized by various governments and international organizations:

Armenians started assaulting and expelling Azerbaijanis back in 1987 (Kapan/Kafan). This happened before Sumgait/Baku pogroms.
Armenia is the aggressor here.

It will be used by people and groups you like and dislike. And the great thing is that neither you nor anyone else can do anything about it.
It's mostly a symptom of reckless monetary and fiscal policies.

It's the opposite if CPI is to be believed (which is a big if): https://www.bls.gov/charts/consumer-price-index/consumer-pri...
