I failed to mention that my application will also be delivered as a service, not installed on my customer's systems.

No, they set up the servers for us. Didn't think to ask, "please make sure the servers reboot without someone standing by to push 'enter' if needed". They told me that the server's BIOS was saying something about the RAID battery being charged and required someone to push 'enter' to continue. Thanks for the suggestion.

We were down for over 2 HOURS! Not acceptable! Found out that one of our servers was stuck at a BIOS screen waiting for someone to hit "Enter". Not happy about it at all.

#5 says that pricing specials for the first month have been shown to work better than free trial. Is that from personal experience or is the auther referring to some studies that have been conducted?

We're selling a SaaS solution to small businesses and our entire process is built around a free 15 day trial. I imagine that if we required payment info upfront, our sign ups would drop dramatically, our cancellation rates would go up and I'm not sure what would happen to the customer acquisition rate. If the net result is positive I wouldn't care about the change in our metrics.

Does anyone know of any articles written about that topic in particular?

I second the scrolling problem. Once I scrolled down, trying to scroll back to the top was ridiculously impossible. I think that I might have reached the top, but then the list changed directions (?) and started scrolling on it's own. It feels like overkill to me. Just give me a scroll bar and hard stops at the top and bottom of the list.
