I'm running 4.3.3 and it has crashed twice on me in about 5 minutes. If this were another company, I would delete the app and move on. The quality today is pretty bad. I hope they've already submitted a release with bug fixes to Apple.

I sincerely wish you luck. I have a 2 month old daughter who wears clothes sized for a 6 month old. It pains me to think about what we spent on clothes she only wore once or twice. I'll send the link to my wife since I have just about zero say (I'm not complaining) about the clothes my daughter wears.

I'm trying it out, but I can't invite any of my friends and family. That kind of defeats the purpose. It's social networking without the network or social aspects.

I like that at least Google is trying new ideas. Consumers in general are experiencing problems in social networking. At least, they are not satisfied with current social networking products. I think a lot of people are looking for something better than what exists today. Google, with its scale, engineers, and obvious commitment to the social space, is in a position to make a difference.

Competition is good.

Content that you post to Google+ seems to be more private by default. I have to choose who I want to see it. It takes a lot of effort figure out privacy settings on Facebook. Plus, it feels like Facebook is trying to game you into sharing more personal information than you really want.

Sharing with family would be easier with Google+ than without it, not necessaryily easier than Facebook.

Nobody in my family uses Facebook. We all have the same sort of privacy concerns. For us, there is no switching cost. At the same time, all of us use gmail. From what I've seen, Google+ looks like it has better privacy features built in (although it's privacy from the public, not private to teh Google). So, I hope my momma will use Google+ because it make sharing things with family a lot easier.

Maybe with coding, it's either up or out. Older developers who have better skills most likely enjoy what they are doing and are somewhat good at it. If they weren't, they would have left the profession, maybe to become project managers or some related position. It's not like you're always forced out of your position, it's just that when you look down the road, you can see that if you're not a great coder, it may be best to find something you're better at. A 25 year old coder may still be figuring out if that line of work is sustainable over the course of a career.

I liked the transparency. That's actually why I signed up and started using LastPass after the 'incident.' I figured a company that would react the way that they demonstrates a lot of integrity. People expect great products, so it is very difficult to give somebody a product that exceeds expectations. Service, however, is rarely expected to be great. It's far easier to exceed expectations in that area. So when I see great service (which I think LastPass provided), I'm a fan.

My wife and I check out about 2 dozen books a week from our local library. That's usually 20 childrens book for our 3 year old and 4 for us. I don't think digital will be replacing our library experience, ever.

In college, however, I only checked out 1 book over 4 years. All of my books had to be purchased, or I was able to use online references.
