This is actually expected behavior. I'm Singaporean and we are well-known for this. Each request, even from Singapore to a Singapore-based site takes multiple hops

I missed this! I totally would have gone. I was one of the potential interns at SpeakerText right before you guys got acquired and would have loved to meet you. I'm working in SF now, maybe we might bump into each other. :)

Agree. I was drowning in the flood that was the authors' self-entitlement.

Very eloquently put. RIP Aaron.

As a student from CMU, I must say, well played, MIT. :) We would have conceived of a hack as well but unfortunately we were in the midst of midterm week. Next time, perhaps. ;)

Because you're making a fallacious assumption with Computer Science in relation to programming/building webapps, just like many others here. You're assuming just because one is good at CS, he/she must be a good programmer.

This is totally untrue.

This is a really cool project. Nice work! :)

P.S. It seems like you're following me on GitHub. Makes me wonder if I know you. Email me to introduce yourself! :)

Hi raghava, I'm Singaporeans and I could connect you with some people who can help you in your research. Send me an email if you are interested. :)

Rest in peace.

This was more of a prototype. I believe they will be scrapping it after alpha. The current technology and database architecture is more of a testbed for us to see what needs to be fixed in the future version. I was there as a software engineer.

Take the class first before commenting on it.

Great view of Parkview Square there. Welcome to Singapore. :)
