yeah that's how you know you legit have ADHD, when a cup or two of coffee makes you calm instead of wired. I do have a threshold where if I drink too much coffee I can't sleep, get jittery etc.
jhfdbkofdchk··on Scottish couple facing $33k repair bill after driving Tesla in heavy rain
Happened to my friend in a 2017 or 2018 model S earlier this year. Drove through a large puddle, not like deep standing water, and after the stopped the car it wouldn’t start back. Water had gotten into the motor case and tripped a sensor. Whole thing shut down. Only fix was replacing the assembly.

slightly faster clock owing to the process shrink, and some changes to the bus. They doubled the cache by having a 256 byte cache for instruction and data separately. Instead of a unified 256 byte cache. Kind of a poor showing given they were released 3 years apart.

jhfdbkofdchk··on Ask HN: Frustrated and stressed: Maang remote work and new team advice
Ha, is this me? Did I write this? I’m in the same boat at one of the big tech firms. I think it’s being new and remote, I’m out of sight and out of mind. No travel for now, so i doubt I’ll get to meet the team in person anytime soon.

I’m going to give it a year, and if it doesn’t get better then I’m out. I’m going to continue being very clear with them about what I want and will offer specific solutions but if it doesn’t change then I’m out.

You do you but if you’re asking if you should be interviewing then you probably should trust your gut.

jhfdbkofdchk··on Machine learning, concluded: Did no-code tools beat manual analysis?
KNIME is a free, fairly well used tool in some sectors, for doing low and no-code analysis and machine learning models.

jhfdbkofdchk··on I found Katherine Johnson's calculations at NASA [video]
I don't know how NASA did it, but in the 60s and 70s the IBM Selectric typewriters had those replaceable balls and you could swap one in with special math symbols on it.
