jfajobi··on Ask HN: Side Project Website Feedback Request Pt II

Thanks for the feedback! What device are you viewing on?

jfajobi··on Ask HN: What are the best Emailing Services out there?

Echoing what others have said. For transactional emails my go to is Sendgrid, for newsletters Mailchimp.

With Sendgrid you get one month of up to 40,000 for free. After that the (forever free plan) is up to 100 emails a month I believe.

Thanks for that. I removed the bitcoin option for now, credit cards do work :)

jfajobi··on Ask HN: What is your side project?

https://www.skipthestamps.com/

A simple tool to send people postcards (either anonymously or signed). Choose from 5 of my preset photos or upload your own.

Mainly wrote it because I always had issues abandoning side projects before I ever released it to the world.

I also wanted to get more comfortable with React.

Hmmm that is frustrating, I will have to look and see what is going on there.

Thanks, I asked for the address first just to ensure we can actually deliver to the location you want. (I attempt to verify the shipping address)

Was not sure which is more of a turn off, not seeing the cards first or making an order and finding out we can't fulfill that order during the last step.

I am sure there is a happy medium there.

jfajobi··on Ask HN: What's your go-to stack for prototyping web applications and MVPs?

My personal go to is Rails + React
