jeromegn··on Rapid Prototyping with HAML, SASS and Ruby
I certainly don't hate it, but I prefer a tab than dealing with curly brackets or termination.

At this point though, I guess it's about individual taste.

Thanks for reading.

jeromegn··on Standard Interface
I agree. The web could maybe be more usable with a standard interface... but it would be awfully boring.
jeromegn··on What interview questions would you ask a prospective Rails Developer?
I might ask the interviewee about stuff from the future of rails. If answered correctly, it shows how someone can be in a continuous learning mode and eager to go the extra mile.
jeromegn··on Ask HN: Please review my startup. theBuzz.at
(UX point of view comment)

Hmm, the design is inspired by www.kontain.com? It's well done though. A few UX quirks here and there, but most of it is fine.

Maybe that nice image and copy on the login/register page should be on the homepage when a user isn't logged in? I'm thinking it could convert more in some way. (though the content is also good, you'd have to sacrifice some other part of the page)

jeromegn··on Ask HN: Feelings of regret over career path?
Sounds like what I'm doing! Basically, taking more technically-inclined contracts as a web developer, even though I prefer the thinking and managing part of web development just so that I can pursue learning and enjoying life at my leisure.
jeromegn··on New crowdsourced fund, for entrepreneurs [canada]
And I commented here: http://www.danielharan.com/2009/01/04/colektivo-another-mont...

I can't see how this is a con.

I work on this project btw. We just didn't see the use of a "who are we?" page, but it's no secret.
