Probably not. It's probably just gonna do tickets better and that'll be about it.
jckahn··on Apple caught off guard by AI demand for Mac Mini and Mac Studio
I run Qwen 3.8 27B just fine on my Mac mini M4 24GB. I use Unsloth's Q3 XXS with 128k context. It successfully completes long horizon tasks with OpenCode.

Is it too much to give the harness a moment to load up the context when starting a new session? Is the brief pause truly a deal breaker?

I'm genuinely not sure how else to interpret your previous comment. Do you see any situations where defense by lethal force is appropriate?
jckahn··on US Military's cyber command unit grapples with cluster of deaths by suicide
I agree that blindly assuming that all "adversaries" of the U.S. (per labeling by the U.S. government) want to kill us. But it does seem that some indeed do. It would further seem that proportionate countermeasures would be appropriate for those cases.

Do you believe that "death to America" chants should not be taken seriously?
jckahn··on US Military's cyber command unit grapples with cluster of deaths by suicide
I'm against the U.S.'s broken leadership as much as any sensible person. But even in normal times with sane leadership, national defense is often a matter of "kill or be killed." This is certainly an uncomfortable truth, but that's the way of the world.
jckahn··on US Military's cyber command unit grapples with cluster of deaths by suicide
Is the implication here that we should take the moral high ground and let our adversaries murder us first?
jckahn··on The AI Billboards Are Killing SF
Muir Woods is right there.
jckahn··on Born Against, or why hobby programming communities are against LLM usage
This is a good analogy. Also I hate cooking; it feels like a chore and waste of time. Given the means, I prefer to have someone else do it for me so I can focus on more interesting things.
