jbgh2··on Things You Can Do That Will Make You Happier
Stop reading HN and go outside :)
jbgh2··on Ask HN: How can we make better, more readable privacy policies?
You might want to check out http://lexpuli.ca They are applying open source ideas to law. The plan is that will create high quality, readable legal documents (with supporting documentation, FAQs etc.) that people can use for free. They are looking for suggestions on what to work on and I know they are interested in Terms of Service and Privacy Policies for websites.
jbgh2··on Ask HN: Review our app, Site Assistant
Looks nice but... I signed up and I get a 404 on the sign-in page. I tried to contact you but your email is an image. Why no contact form? So now I'm feeling frustrated.

I agree that 10 free websites is far too many. 1 for free then start paying after that. The pricing looks weird by being per 6 months. Make it yearly or monthly.

I'll look deeper when I can get in.

edit Got in, nice collection of information. I'm not frustrated any more :)

jbgh2··on Is releasing early ever a bad idea?
Good point, thanks for the reference.

I'm making web based games so it is very easy to tweak and re-release (people don't even have to know you've changed it) but there has to be a minimum level of quality and fun to begin with. Starting with a single, well polished level, and going from there sounds like the best strategy. I can add more or change it based on feedback.

Great metaphor!

For a game, the fundamentals have to be right, and you can usually tell that early on, but the 'fun' can take a long to get right. I'm going to polish to a point where I can take feedback from friends and iterate from there.

It always takes them three goes!
