How awesome!
Why would you split a story into 50 tweets? Its the hardest way to read content.
collection = []
for i in data:
collection.append(fn(i))
Why not just [fn(i) for i in data] ?Should you be using any of this in production code? No
The next programmer even if he is a really good one might not know that particular esoteric trick.
I'm not trying to vote down or anything, but what is the point? Most of it look like language design warts to me. Most of them should have thrown exceptions and errored out.
Now I'm loving the idea of static typing a lot more.
For once again proving the point that unless its free software, its not worth it.

And then look for babelHow did ubuntu fix font issues? That code should be FOSS! Let me see how I can make that run on arch ;)
PS: I use a very minimal arch machine with i3 wm (the most awesome WM ever and I pretty much hate gnome and unity religiously. I think KDE is a bloat) I'll soon have a look at it again, and will post here if something good comes along.
I installed archlinux, and still havent got the fonts right. Its so much strain on the eyes and I had to go back to mac.
Sometimes I forget the keys, then I either enable menu bar mode to quickly look it up or switch to eshell for a while
