Edge is available at least on OS X, I'm currently running it on both of my Macs. Not sure about Linux though and I agree it'd be great if they open-sourced it.

I don't see anything about sexual orientation, just sex which would be about being male/female (possibly transexual depending on the interpretation?).

I believe he's saying: without having to put the chromebook into developer mode. A mode that allows developers to do more on their chromebook, such as using a terminal, which is not accessible in regular mode.
