You are right, we started using it in 2019. From what I know none of the apps in our space had this slogan when we decided to use it and we did quite a lot of research, but to be fair I did not know about the existence of Project Insight in 2017.

Are you serious? Is "Just do it" a combination of words in English? We don't own it because we're a small startup.

A couple of years ago Asana stole our slogan, now Google.

We live in a post truth world. Instead of accepting men and women as complementary we're forced into "competition", yet another way of dividing society.

This is an incredibly good move by Slack, even more so after the recent announcement from MS with the Teams free version.

Let me put it another way, when was the last time you heard a user ask for an iOS app to be on the Mac? Is this what Mac users want or is it something that Apple wants?

Is that an OS update? Do you really need iOS apps on the Mac? How about having decent apps in the actual native apps store?

WWDC 2018, from underwhelming to boring. I will lose my mind if i hear *oji one more time. Will they ever stop with this nonsense? Favicons in Safari? It took them 6 years for the browser to remember the zoom setting per site, now we have the luxury of having favicons.

Since they pay more, they value the service more, so they tend to stick around more :)

I think that we're at a point where customers no longer care, it's just a technicality

Are you talking about monthly churn or yearly?

This is a sign that there might be something wrong with your positioning/marketing/messaging. The initial high churn means your customers think they will get X but they get Y - so they abandon the product. The ones that "get it" stick around. For now i would just remove the 1st month from the stats and look at it independently and then try to tweak the perception. Talking to the people who drop out will give you a better picture (it's hard but very much worth pursuing).

Funny no one mentions Google, all this is done purely for the SEO juice. We've heard it for years, links don't matter that much these days.. but in fact they do matter.

Imho Google needs to fix this, not the content farms that Google thinks are "trusted" news sources.

The actual app is a standard web app based on React that connects to a GraphQL server.

Our project management app - paymoapp.com is built on Sencha and we're a bit worried. We spent a lot of resources building ext6 apps on top of the old ext4 core - hopeful Idera won't do crazy stuff, it's a good framework worth saving.
